SAP SD Batch Determination or Batch Management | Sivan's SAP SD Training
The materials are maintained in batches in many industries especially in Pharma & Retail, to identify the product’s status about SLED - Shelf Life Expiration Date. So that the business can take immediate action whenever the defect or damage happens to the Products managed in the batches. Also the business can identify the near expiry date products and take the actions accordingly.
Batch Management works based on Condition Technique concept.
Condition Tables + Access Sequences + Strategy Types + Search Procedure
Important Tables - SE16N:
MCH1 - Batches
MCHA - Plant Specific Batches of the Materials
MCHB - Batch Stocks
Important Transaction Codes:
BMBC - Batch Information Cockpit
MSC1N - To create batches
VCH1 - Batch Determination using search strategy

If it's same material the item category will populate from sales order to delivery n to invoice.
Hi sir, Hope you are doing Good, While doing Batch Determination in T. code MSC1N classification tab.. system doesnt take Batch class (LOMB_VFDAT) . It says the mentioned batch class is not found. How to solve the error?

Please go to CT04 transaction n create it. Then u can select that class in MSC1n transaction. In demo system we always do like this. In RealTime this will be taken care by PP team. Thank u.

Where we maintain batch expire dates ur maintain manufacturing date only give me the clarity
