This explanation seems so very right wing slanted to me. It does not go anywhere near the truth about what they plan to DO TO people, and HOW they will strip away all voting rights from everyone who is not a white male. Everyone must realize that all the Anti-DEI laws DeSantis implemented go after people of color, sure, but the insidious hidden part is it attacks the rights of women and people with disabilities as well. Look at it with clear eyes. All their dislikes and policies are just like Hitler's. So many of them just haven't been stated exactly yet. DeSantis expanded his DEI dismantling again recently. He has taken over more colleges than New College and turned them into Hillsdale College and other right-wing religious disinformation education churns to teach all children from age 4 up to be religious right, white supremacy backing solidly republican. Project 2025 dismantles the DOE. They already started this - the voucher system. Convincing people is a great idea, when the fact is they funnel public, taxpayer funds to pay for vouchers, the goal is to pull everyone or a high majority out of public schools so they can then tell The People public schools are a drain on public funds, we are closing them. Just look at what DeSantis has done so far if you want proof. Gah. No. There is so much more, and I've already written way too much right here.

I've read it with the understanding I gleaned from being in the far right back in the early 90s. Imaginej handing broad power to people who WANT to use violence on you, who live in a land of stereotypes where everyone not just like them is evil and a threat. Project 2025 looks like an authoritarian cookbook, complete with ingredients and recipes. There might be one or two things in there I agree with, but the rest will do far worse than merely taste bad. That is to say, even if I could be convinced to agree with the principles (ingredients), which I don't, I can't agree with the approach (recipes). Make no mistake; authoritarian governments are efficient. That's not the issue I have with them. It's getting rid of an authoritarian once they have consolidated power, and that's the problem. You can't vote an authoritarian out of office. Trump might have a chance of 20+ years left. However, someone will eventually replace him, and there won't be a way to vote that leader out of office.

Getting rid of the people with different ideological beliefs and policy, destroying the checks and balances of the three branches of US government to enforce your will upon others and recruiting an army of ideological soldiers that will help implement your beliefs and policies. Where have we seen this before?

We the people are meant to have the power. Gov employees work for us. And their Mandate literally will not allow anyone outside their political party to work for the government. How long before we will be allowed in schools, there won't be Aid for very long but anything that might help people won't be given to anyone not loyal to Trump either, whether they call it that or do like Trump did when he ordered the slowdown of getting passports to those from Afganistan, who helped us while we were there so they would not come thru before we finished pulling out. They were the people hanging from the planes, and why Trump bragged he was responsible, then tried saying it was Biden's fault. Technically, Trump didn't stop them from getting out, just made it impossible for them to get visas into here on time to get out, and made a deal with Isis behind their back they could do as they pleased with whoever got left.

It sounds awful, and yet groups have done this before, just that it wasn't advertised. The Federalists did this at the beginning of the country, the "Radical Republicans" did this in the late 1850's, and the Democratic Party did it on the heels of Wilson and FDR over the course of the World Wars. It's business as usual, it's just that America has reached its apex, and we're looking at the phenomena on the downslope, that's why it looks ugly.

Kim Jong Un had everyone above the age of being a productive worker, the disabled, and anyone old enough to remember freedom rounded up into arenas and killed, something like 20,000 at a time. He hasn't been in power all that long either. So wasn't very long ago. I am definitely going to vote. Though, I am extremely worried that Biden will lose because of how much Independents will be against him, especially in key swing states. To make matters worse, we got plenty of Muslim voters that are not even convinced to vote for Biden because how he sided with Israel over Palestine. This is a bad decision he made because of the odds of Trump winning are increasing because of voter splitting. We're still going to vote blue, especially for House Democrats to stop Project 2025. But seeing Trump's penchant for sexual proclivities and the fact that he's had how many divorces and Russian wives, his infidelities, judgment against him for being a sexual predator, his public statements regarding his sexual attraction for his daughter, and his friendship with Epstein that was close enough they were co-defendants in at least one case alleging several sexual related crimes, battery and holding a female hostage to name a few, and more, I hardly think the guidelines put forth in that mandate are based on his morality and ethics but is a talking point to make him seem more divine, play to the religious followers and another step towards eliminating freedoms and taking control. This take on the conservative takeover plan is way too "both sides" to be helpful. You basically normalize the conservative plan to completely restructure constitutional government and effectively ensure the cons get their christianist dominion Handmaid's Tale putin-style dictatorship without any way for the people to reverse or challenge any of it. No honest evaluation would gloss over the rollback of rights and of the shift of control of the government, police, justice system and military to a single supreme leader with no checks or balances. Just tacking on "criticisms" at the end isn't enough. Don't wave off the end of American democracy like it's ordinary public policy change. Do better.

Yes, before he got to the list of criticisms, I thought so, too. But I also see the point of his trying to be evenhanded.

Anyone that agrees with Project 2025 should go read legislation inacted by Mussolini and Hilter after they came to power. P25 is a revamped modernized version of those documents. I don't care if you are Republican or Democrat, I don't care if you generally support the views in P25 or are against those views... however if you say that you support the Constitution, you should be deeply fearful of P25. The details of it are not covered very well at all (in this video) and are glossed over. What is crazier is that P25 has their own website where you can read it. You can play Constitution violation bingo reading the thing. If you are a fan of freedom and liberty... P25 is not eventhough it cloaks itself in patriotism. Be mindful that a small Christian Nationalist minority wants the power to control you and dictate your lives via P25, and wants to jail and prosecute all people holding opposing views. If you think that is already happening, you need to grow up and get in touch with reality, and compare P25 to the doctrine legalized by the Fascists in Italy and the Nazis in Germany in the 1930s. In some cases, it is verbatim translation to English, just change "Jews", to "immigrants" or "non-Christians".

@infernoloco64 I think the easiest way to see it is to sign up to receive info (and emails) from them. It's a load of junk emails, but a few of them have links back to their website and provide you with the actual documents associated with P25 and not just the "flowery" overview they put up for the general public to see when first jump on.

As someone who has flapped their ticket in the past for president. I will always vote for democracy. I'm not happy with either choice between biden and trump. But we can live thru a bad presidency and have. We can't live thru the burning of our constitution. Biden 2024

This will take a massive government to enforce, and it will intrude on the personal choices of everyone based on the Bible, whether a person believes the Bible or not. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned." Can you imagine the size and scope of a government that intends to enforce this???

It will actually remove all checks and balances from both sides so that the ones in power can keep it forever. 6:08 - Like (convict president) trying to clear his name and persecute everyone who ever pointed out his crimes? 6:26 - You mean like you said would happen at 3:29? Women will lose all rights. The church is separate from law here. 7:00 - I can go on for a long time here as I am very knowledgeable on these topics. P2025 seeks to destroy the EPA, CDC, sell protected lands, build more fossil fuel pipelines, restrict renewable resources and add taxes to those who use them, and export more. This is a plan to put the 0.01% in absolute power, enslaving and killing everyone else. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Little dose of reality: Not all Democrats are liberal aka left-wing. There are conservative aka right-wing Democrats.

I recall a certain convicted felon who removed those who wouldn’t follow him, he also never filled many positions. The result was a 4 year sh*t- show- the likes of which no one has ever seen before (some people say it was sh*ttiest sh*t- show ever!)

I looked at Project 2025, at the things I cared the most personally about, and I recommend that everybody else does the same. From what I saw, if any of these are something you can align with, Project 2025 will be a nightmare for you: Action against climate change/fossil fuels Support for gender minorities More funding for education Affordable healthcare Support for overseas allies in Europe Basic abortion rights The desire for alternatives to cars Government without religious interference Action that helps impoverished communities Affordable higher education Don't want government officials to be chosen based on loyalty over experience Opportunities for immigrants to coming to America Don't want a nation of expensive single-family houses Don't want the government to prop up fossil fuels and roll back environmental regulations

More people need to know.

This scares me so much, even if i read unbiased articles, it sounds SO BAD! And if i read republican based articles, its just a bunch of dog whistles about trans people, following Christianity and other conservative beliefs. Nowhere i look makes me feel better.
