If something is not lost, for it can't be lost, then why going after it? Makes completely no sense at all. Even Jesus said he only came to save the lost (Luke 19:10). How is it that God created men in the image of him that it can't be lost/separated? Isn't that exactly what makes God's love real love that we can be separated just as we can choose to love back (being human with free will to choose as opposed to robots) ?

This was refreshingly simple, yet profoundly uplifting. I recall reading the 19th century Baptist Samuel Cox's "Salvator Mundi" years ago, and thinking how much bigger His God was compared to the God of mainline thinking. God draws close to us when we draw close to Him, but which God is the easier to draw close to? The one who is proleptical Father of his entire creation - essentially the good shepherd who unrelentingly seeks out the one lost sheep (Luke 15) - or the one who commits the bulk of his creation to wretchedness and sin without end? Thank you!

Yes, yes, yes! Baptist in the 17th and 18th century were the power behind freedom of religion. Back then, even in America, they faced folks who freely used the government laws against them. When you go from minority to majority your theology of government ought not change.

Tanks for a nice video! I'm a bit surprised, however, by how you explain the term 'Primitive'. I agree that freedom of thought is important, but as I would've understood it, 'Primitive' refers to specific theological doctrines held by early baptists, Justification from Eternity/Justification by Christ Alone and related ideas in particular? But perhaps this would be to 'technical' to bring up in an introduction...

I would like to know What the Primitive Baptists Universalists really believe . Do they believe in a Last day Gathering up ? Maybe they don't call it the rapture , but the word "Harpazo " to be snatched up is in the scriptures. That Jesus said he would come back for his own and the dead in CHRIST Shall rise first and those that are alive and remain will also be caught up and so shall they ever be with the Lord . It also says the Angels /Messengers of God take out all that offend . ( 1 Thes.4:16-17 , Matt. 13:41 ) So not all seem to go back with the Lord. I am assuming those people go into a sort of refiners fire. Also, were is an Ohio branch of this church located ? Thank you .

I'm a Christian Universalist, but disagree with much of what is asserted here. Most of Scripture is to be taken literally if it is rightly divided. Hell is for an age, not for punishment but for correction and purification. All are not save already but those who embrace that it is through faith and acknowledgement of Jesus' death and resurrection on our behalf as the propitiation for our sin. Those who die lacking this belief will go through God's correction and the process of burning away our hearts of darkness and leading us into the light of his love. Then and only then are they saved and welcomed into Glory and fellowship with their Creator who draws ALL things to himself.

People who keep talking about hell all the time get that word from Reading their toxic Bibles if you read the true Hebrew and Greek you won't find that word from cover to cover also if God had created such a terrible place, he surely would have mentioned it to folks in the beginning, but not a word to Adam and Eve not a word Abraham Isaac and Jacob, not even a hint to Moses the law-giver over four thousand years and not one hint, of it, surely God would not keep people in the dark all of those years, the truth is is to be found nowhere in his word, hell in these toxic Bibles it's not even a translation, just a plain out substitution, Gehenna is a place, a person a place or a thing as a noun, Gehenna should be translated Gehenna. Example,. How would you translate Jerusalem from Greek to English? Jerusalem of course,. He'll came to Us by way of the Latin Vulgate, And Augustine who insisted that the Catholic Church teach an eternal hell as doctrine Augustine himself said we told these people what we knew to be lies , it was the only way to keep the masses in line. This is where your hellcomes from you did not receive it from God you received it from man hell is hel. She is the Norse pagan goddess of the underworld and did not belong in the scriptures, she is purely pagan myth, and that is what she prefers to be, if she were real, she would not like what we have done with her name.

That's what I've always said in all my other text s Jesus said every man will be salted with fire, purified, Paul taught the same thing in 1st Corinthians 3 11 through 15, every Man's work will be tried by the fire to see what sort of work it is in if your works are burned up, you will suffer loss, but in the end you will be saved. And remember Peter said, that this judgment begins with the house of God.

@@wretchedsinnerRighteousSavior You don't know the original words Olam/Aion don't mean unending or eternal therefore you are confused. You also don't understand fire is just a parable for hardships and tests which helps to give salt to the one being refined. Parafrasing: "...For everyone shall be salted by fire, have salt and have peace one with another..."Mk9 ------------- This is one of the most important topics worth studying in the bible. You must study it before calling God a monster, there is no mention of everlasting damnation also in the whole OT and you are telling me that madness. You are confused. So you think fire is useless? ---> My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All My fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy. 9“FOR THEN I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him with one accord."Zeph 3:8-9 So you are telling me people burning will seve the Lord??? ----------------------- "and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross."Col1:20 "that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him"Eph 1:10 The Gospel means God saved all, but some men He saved through fire: "...the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe"1Tim4:10 "And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."1Jn2:2

When Jesus spoke the word gehenna he was talking about the valley of himmom same as in the Old testament the valley on the left side of Jerusalem that became the city dump Jesus was not talking about the afterlife but the upcoming destruction of Jerusalem if he had been talking about the afterlife he would have mentioned it to everyone but he did not he was only talking to the Jews Jesus said not to go among the gentiles I was only sent to the Lost House of Israel also when John's letter to the gentiles he never once mentioned gehenna. Why? Because it did not concern them this destruction was only to come up on the Jews. Hell is not even a translation just a plain out substitution Gehenna is a place and a person place or a thing is a noun Gehenna should have been translated Gehenna example if you were going to translate the word Jerusalem from Greek to English how would you translate it. A man centered view of creation and the gospel is often the cause of bad doctrine. What many fail to realize is creation is by God for God’s glory. It’s not about man. We who believe just reap the benefits of the perfect love between the triune God. The perfect Father so loved the perfect Son He (the Father) promised the Son a redeemed people, redeemed by the perfect Spirit. A people that would spend their life in prayer to be formed into the image of the perfect Son and be raised to worship Him for eternity. We’re not the center of creation or the gospel, Christ is. We’re a love gift from the Father to the Son, prepared by the Spirit. It’s all for Christ. Repent and believe the gospel.

I believe in walking in the light of truth “ the light of life “ which is greater to have than anything . Keeping days are a very ignorant thing , walking in the light is .
