thank you, for the info, I did exactly what you said, alot of the scratches are gone. It's alot of work, I did the clay bar, the compound, the polishing and the wax, one after the other. The wife was freaking out, it took a little Moore the 8 hours. But worth it. Again thank you and keep up the good work, Mike from Ottawa Ontario CA

Hey guys love all the vids and have just got myself a da with some ultimate compund with ultimate liquid wax to get me through this virus shite.how long roughly does the was last.i wash the car every week proper 2 bucket ect.car driven 200miles per week so how often should I apply the wax.i have traffic film remover should I stop using that every wash.cheers kev (scotlan) 👍

When removing scratches and polishing afterwards, maybe even waxing, what do you do with the plastic and rubber bits on the car such as door / window seals? Do you tape them off?

You can however products like Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax are all plastic and rubber safe

Just clay bared my car. .dont have any scratches I waxed it useing meguiars cleaner wax. . Canni just skip to polishing or doni neednto compound?

Do you apply in straight lines when using pads by hand with the polish? or do mimic application as you would apply wax in small circles

It doesn't really matter but it's probably easier to see where you've been if you go in circles and straight lines!

If you are using a DA polisher the Yellow polishing disc is perfect. By hand use the same on as in the video! Yellow foam applicator pad.

can we use ultimate compound on head lights ?

is it possible to use meguiars ultimate compound, meguiars ultimate polish and meguiars white wax to my car using Bosch GPO 950? not using DA POLISHER, please help, thank you

Meguiar's polish is kind of non-greasy wax Designed for vehicle without scratch coat layer That's the right definition.

Compounding the car will remove your ceramic coating mate a car Should if been prepped before coating if you have swirls and marks in the paint compound polish and than re coat it

As with all products everyone has its use I have a metallic ebony car would you recommend any other polish ?

The Ultimate Polish is the only polish we have! I would suggest protecting the paint after the Ultimate polish with something like our Ultimate Wax.

After ultimate polish can i use gold class carnauba premium pluse paste wax and top with ultimate quick wax?

Absolutely! Any top up of wax will bond to any existing wax.

After polishing apply the wax to protect that gloss.

Can you not wet sand the scratch compound it then polish and wash it depending on depth of it?

Using our Ultimate Compound it keeps it nice and simple for any new detailers or car enthusiasts starting out!

No need to wash the car after Polishing. Once you've got the desired gloss protect it with the wax.

What's the deal with the mt3000. These guys are the only ones you see really using it. Is it not a good machine. Reading it sounds to be pretty good and not badly priced. I am looking to purchase another DA and am really looking at the meguiars.

Joe Gross I use it, it shakes a bit more and is more noisy than rupes 15 DA. But is also cheaper. It is good overall machine. I used also Chemical Guys pads with it with no issues.

Why dont you use a iron out remover ? Before claying ? Greetzzz from Holland

Hi, the bottle states this is a 'glaze' as well as a polish. Which is the more accurate? How much 'cutting' micro abrasives does this contain? Can this be used as a filler glaze in it's own right?

This is close to a polish than a glaze, as glaze is quite a broad description. It's a refining tool used to remove hazing after compounding.

@@gurdevsihre1828 Both application processes will achieve a high gloss level as well as cut however the machine will get a higher level of cut.

just needs a vader interior now.......

Hi Patrick. StarGard apparently, it's a product that Mercedes apply to their cars and is polymer based. I saw it on KZread. Hope this helps. Cheers.

@@Jimmy2Pies If it's the same as a normal ceramic coating then yes the process is the same when it comes to polishing. Anything like clay or Ultimate compound may compromise it. In terms of wax it will only connect to it and provide more protection.

@@meguiarsuk so if I used M205 on an orange pad but I needed more cut so went to M105 would I have to change to a new orange pad for test spot or brush off M205 then apply M105 to the same orange pad?

How come you done use panel wipe after compounding and polishing ?

You would use a panel wipe to remove any silicones before painting. The ultimate compound and polish don't leave any silicones behind.

The Ultimate Polish is for MAXIMUM gloss levels before applying a Wax to protect that gloss.
