22/7 are commonly used to approximate it. Consequently, its decimal representation never ends, nor enters a permanently repeating pattern. It is a transcendental number, meaning that it cannot be a solution of an equation involving only sums, products, powers, and integers. The transcendence of π implies that it is impossible to solve the ancient challenge of squaring the circle with a compass and straightedge. The decimal digits of π appear to be randomly distributed,[a] but no proof of this conjecture has been found.

Yep, pi day for me is when I indulge in some Cherry pie🍒By the way, I was about 4years old when I first saw the pi symbol. When Mom put a slice of pie in Dad's lunch pale. It was in a plastic, wedge shaped container that had the math symbol for pi.😋

why the c & d are cannot be the rational ones at same time ?
Why at least one (C or D or both) must be irrational?

That is a fundamental property of a circle.

This video omits, ignores or hides an essential aspect of pi. Pi is NOT always an irrational constant. Sure it is 3.1416 or whatever during the day. But, at night it varies usually between 2.7 and 4.3. Occasionally it is even higher; two weeks ago I got up to tinkle and noticed pi was a bit over 6. Apparently, for some unknown reason, pi is correlated with the tides in Perth, Australia. -- just thought you shoild know. The tragic recent collapse of the Titan sub is probably due to this variation unless they wound the hull only during day time ant stopped at sundown.

@@Dominic51214 The next place after the 5 is 9, so we round up. Of course that is pi at local noon and 68 degrees F at sea level. As i noted above, all bets are off at night and at New Year’s day.

Nobody knows what Pi is. Actually you can never calculate the area of a circle, because you don't know Pi.
