The radioactivity in bananas is from an isotope of potassium, which has the symbol "K." Vitamin K, however, refers to a family of compounds the liver needs. It doesn't seem to be particularly common in bananas, though.

I'd have to guess that the people who can make hacks want to make kaizo hacks. I don't think they sell these things so each one is probably a labor of love and everyone else can either take it or leave it.
