00:00 We’ll start by providing a short introduction to what Multi Jet Fusion is.
00:58 Second, the MJF 3D printing process is discussed in detail, paying special attention to the role of the detailing agent and temperature control.
02:11 Third, materials that can be used, such as Nylon 12, in Multi Jet Fusion printing will be gone over.
02:39 Fourth, the advantages of Multi Jet Fusion are discussed. This section contains mechanical properties, MJF design aspects and more.
05:06 Fifth, the disadvantages of Multi Jet Fusion are discussed. This section contains limited material options, part size, and more.
06:13 Sixth, the differences between MJF and SLS, or selective laser sintering, are explained.
07:54 Finally, we’ll give an overview of the post-processing that is needed and or possible for Multi Jet Fusion.

I operate a service bureau in California that specializes ONLY in HP printing called Streamline 3D, and this video was seriously on point. Even though MJF is what I do 12 hours a day, I don't think I could have added much more information here. Great work!
At 1:50 into the video you mention the 'detailing agent' being like a 'black ink'. The fusing agent is like a black ink. The detailing agent is generally colorless. Otherwise an informative, balanced presentation of MJF.
great explanation and very helpful . thankyou
Great video thanks.
This was excellent - thank you
Great video!
This was great
Cool video
With MJF i always feel a mild powder residue on my fingers whenever handling parts. That said, this type of 3d printing did save our butts a couple of times. We were able to print some pretty challenging objects, like large (
Formlabs fuse 1 sls also allows swappable build chambers.
Hi Protolabs, I’m a recently separated U.S. Navy service member and landed a position with 3D Systems. I’d love a copy of 3D Printing Handbook!
What's with the beeping between jump cuts?
Can two printed HP TPU rubber parts glue or head bond together? (post printing assembly)
hello, I would like to know an approximate measurement of the largest part size that can be printed with an hp MJF.
I want a battery carrier made out of nylon with this process. How will the part handle a temperature of 60 celsius? Will it deform in some way. The part is quite thin.
Uh EOS SLS systems have switchable build envelopes to BTW...
How much?
A benefit not mentioned is the lack of supports.
