My son has this ridge on his forehead like this but doesn't have the close eyes. He had to be suctioned out of the birth canal twice during birth. He is now 3 and it hasn't gone away and he is speech delayed.

Why anterior fontanelle/ soft spot closes just after the surgery?

My child have same face ... But i don't think about surgery... He is about 2 years and looks more beautiful with that...

Child can potentially have issues down the road. My son has it and were getting the bone removed.

It might not seem like an issue now but it will be when he gets older. It also might interfere with how his brain grows.

I'm 30 and had this surgery in 1993 at the University of Iowa Hospital I was 3½ premature and am lucky to be alive and I look completely normal when my hair is short you can see my scar it goes from ear to ear
