It is if you want to get verified on both Instagram and Facebook. If you want to ger verified on the same platform twice, I don't believe that's possible. At least that's my understanding.

Hey man, I have a question, it's allowing me to get meta verified on my Facebook but not my Instagram, and I'm almost certain it has to due with me not having my real name on my Instagram account/profile. Now, with this being said do I have to add my first and last name somewhere in my Instagram username, or simply the "name" option above that when editing your Instagram profile? I've been trying to look for the answer to this for a while, so if you could please get back at me; thank you.

Yes for IG your first and last name has to be a part of your profile. It doesn't have to be your handle though. When you go through the prompts to verify on IG it will actually ask you to add your first and last name.
Can I change my birth name back to my artist name Jay Random after I'm verified or will that take away the badge?

@@imalvaroberrios switched out of Beta app and redownloaded the Facebook normal and logged into business suite still getting nowhere, they don't make it easy to take your $monthly

Not 100% sure, but my guess is that if you go through the verification process and then change your name, you will lose your verification

It will not let you change it at all my entire government name was put out to the world and they said i couldn't change it unless i unsubscribe then get verified over again but i had to wait until it was time to pay for my blue check all over again so i ended up deleting my entire instagram because i wasnt comfortable with my entire personal information out like that in public and also i would have to wait days before my subscription was up to redo it again

@@thanhhihihihi because the whole point of Meta Verified is to ensure that the person behind the account is who they say they are. So by buying a verified account that isn't yours, Meta's security measures will catch you and ban your account.

@@imalvaroberrios no, they won't ban it, fb account trading with verified meta is very popular in countries that don't have that feature. they bought accounts with meta verifird in Australia and US then changed their name to owner
So basically, you will be charged if you have Facebook or Instagram.
