There are some differences between tools and apple products. -Tools are made catering to men vs Apple products that are made to please the tastes of LGBTQFMX -therefore bigger, heavier more robust and powerfull tools are considered premium vs Apple products where tinier, flimsier, featurelssier and more locked-in and design centric accessoire-like produtcs are considered premium.

Inventory tracking stickers is all fine but advertising stickers are not. Some repair shops go crazy with their ad stickers that has nothing but their company logo and phone number on it.

I find those Intel, AMD, NVidia and Windows stickers annoying as well. I don't need stickers to tell me what processor is built in. And there's no need to tell anybody else. I always removed those when I got a laptop (except the last laptop which was a Clevo from a small vendor without stickers on it). I really don't understand why they put it on there and those really are hard to remove.

I can think of no higher compliment for Louis than to say "I learned something". It is a rare thing since most KZread videos make you dumber for watching them but Louis is amongst the few that make you smarter. So Louis for 2020 I wish you continued good health, success and may your PP3-GH never been shorted to ground!

To be fair they are not nearly as volatile and explosive, but I agree with that Apples argument is still junk.

Great work on this. I recall watching most of the individual episodes, but they themselves were not nearly as hilarious as this rewind. Thanks for all your hard work, skill and dedication over the year. Best wishes for the coming year, and beyond.

I don't see the scummy thing about either. Anything remotely educational or informative I make public, patreon/streamlabs/gofundme is a tip jar for people who made money from it. I don't like the idea of floatplane because it is a paywall between what I produce and the people watching it. I can get that for private livestreams(I can never answer all questions in normal AMAs because there's 180 messages a minute), but not for anything real.

@@rossmanngroup yeah but at least according to the video LTT put out, Floatplane isn't advertised as a KZread alternative but more as a reliable source of income which can be funded by your more involved subscribers, kinda of a choice basis. In that, it's more of a competitor to Patreon, which I think is why the comparison was made

There were replies to this, but they've gone away. This was the first time we've seen that part of the incident. The prior release, taken down hours after it went up, showed our hero watching the instant replay on a passer-by's phone. The prep a week before showed a current sense mod and a quick comment after the fact mentioned a further mod in the same direction.
