The Checks format sounds really exciting. I like how it rewards risky plays and it the tournament winner ending on a game win will make the viewing experience a lot more exciting, I think. Rooting for XQN to dominate!

Several different esports, both auto-battlers and battle royales, have tried the Check format before (usually under different names like Match Point).It has not always been met with success. It should be interesting to see how it fares in this debut event after a tumultuous practice period of several drastic meta shifts.

This is actually STUPID. You have to finish top 16 in a constructed format to qualify for a Battlegrounds eSports tournament. Yup makes perfect sense 😂
