"Ideas will die on your lips unless you become a person of influence." Wow, that's very true.

You'll always have enemies when you become a real leader. You need a strong constitution and servants heart. If you think of others before yourself and follow the golden rule, you can change the world. Seek virtues

Well said. Leadership is not a job or paid position. It is a skill, an art, and a heavenly gift. It can never be mastered by idiots.

Very good. Leadership requires a combination of traits, behaviors, actions that inspire, motivate, and guide a team towards a common goal.

Absolutely, the ability to inspire rather then force influence into one’s community and beyond

I graduated from Dallas Baptist University , and we were all taught to be servant leaders. I concur with Tony and his assessment on leadership.

Scary to think that ideas can die on our lips if we fail to convey them effectively. And my take home here is to learn to influence yourself for the greater good 💎💎💎 And of course we can't influence others but we can't control (till we realize our full, true and ultimate (divine) potential) outer circumstances. What we do have a great deal of influence over is how we respond to the externalities. And the kadampa masters used to say that it's a joke to think that we can calm/subdue the minds of others until we can calm our own minds. May you be well and happy 🙏👊

Big words. I'm trying to make his words practical. He hits on a lot of points that require deep dives all by themselves. I think it's worth the dive.

The first person you have to influence is YOURSELF! If you cannot, you are NOT live life on your terms! Why? No SELF-discipline, no (worthy ) life {to be proud of (for yourself)}!
