    We aren't full time but I do the same thing with the TP. That thin stuff is for the birds. Also.. I use a hand towel to dry off with then a turkish towel to wrap up in to walk to the bedroom. The turkish towel is thin and dries super fast. The hand towels makes laundry day a breeze.

    I have never understood why people complain so much about a wet bath. Be happy that you have it to be able to do your no.2 business and can't make it to a public gym or the weather sucks like raining hard or heavy snow. You're in a Class B so of course its going to be small.

    After years of boat living we wanted a shower compartment with no running water. Our toilet is a porta potty for simplicity because it doesn’t bother me to deal with it. For showering we can shower by using a solar shower which we normally use outside. Post pandemic we will return to gyms and truck stop showers are amazingly clean and easy. We also put all toilet paper in the garbage which makes dumping easy. We have no humidity in our custom built van. A rather less middle class solution I know.

  • @IreneIronTravels

    @IreneIronTravels

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hello! It is a tough decision for sure! I will say the main reason we "put up with" the lack of storage and space is because we really like to travel free and fast. The B is truly a easy and simple RV that allows us to go anywhere and do anything with little planning. Sure we miss the extra space when we are at a campsite, but we love to keep moving and traveling! Good luck, you can't go wrong with either as long as it makes you guys happy!

My questions are : Since I would like to live out of my Van , what are the parking options for such a Vehicle ? I live in Canada , however will travel soon post Covid . How do you maintain phone and internet services ? What price range is reasonable for the class B , new or used? Forgive me if my questions come across as haphazard , this is a huge switch for me and I am stepping in to uncharted waters :) … your help is greatly appreciated .❤️🇨🇦

    I always wondered 😮how you all deal with these bathrooms. Good video showing so. I been trying to understand the benefits of a van camper and this bathroom besides the overall cost of a B which are starting in the 130 k and higher for a much tighter living space. We own a gulf stream B plus 28 ft 1 slide. It’s smaller a C but we have separate bedroom queen and a small bathroom with a decent sized shower it’s small but functional. These van B campers seem to be a constant pain to organize daily. I get the better MPG but your paying way more over a E450 which we get 11-12 mpg towing a Ford Ranger behind us. So what you save in gas you’ll never see that saving over the years of owning B And the extra room. I know you guys have s trailer now. I watch you guys all the time love the channel. Do you find the inconsistencies owning a B worth it. My wife likes the bedroom to separate or ready to lay down anytime. We see a lot of them in campgrounds and people seem to be squeezed tight lot of RAMs with Fiat engine too. 😢 I would like to hear you thoughts on cost effectiveness and convince owning one.

  • @IreneIronTravels

    @IreneIronTravels

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes, lots of variables with owning a true class b RV or converted van. Chris is the same way as your wife and always hated the fact she couldn’t lie in bed early if she felt like it. We had to make that conscious decision to turn the van into night mode and make the bed. And with the big bed made the van felt tiny! Ultimately it comes down to the person(s) and what their priorities, needs, and wants are and also what they are willing to give up. With a van there is only a small amount of space to deal with! For full time Rving with 2 people it only worked for us for a couple years. But they were some of the best years of our lives!

    Well Vince would be really happy that you are using a Sham Now! Wow! Or did I get that backwards? As he says hey Mr. cameraman. It's just a Sham towel. That licks the water right off of your body! And your dog! As every camper also needs a Sham oriented dog. When they played in the gray water and black water leaking from your tanks. And then want to jump into bed with you! And doggy smells like sewage! Yum! Such a fragrance to sleep by comfortably! LMAO! And so there are obvious disadvantages to, Class--B stealth campers. And that's called space. It's a great big place! Outside of the van! And sleeping for most guys, that are 6 feet tall. That can't really sleep,, perpendicularly. In the, width of the van. Or diagonally on a full or queen sized bed. (Full as in double because a twin is single. Go figure? What moron called a single bed a twin? And why cannot not be changed for the 21st century? Because it's just flat out, confusing that a twin is a single. And so I guess twin babies are also a single baby? Yeah no! It's a pair. And they both get separate little beds of their own! Two single baby beds for twins. Not a single bed for an adult twin. Even though that is exactly the case! And destroys the use of our English language. Into a ball of whack a doodle, confusion. Because a single bed is called a twin bed for a single person. Um… No! That does not compute! And the federal government has rules and laws. Of labeling for our products. And a Twin bed is not a double bed! And a double bed is called a full-size. Full-size of what? Men or women? Both? How does that work when one is shorter than the other? Oh right! Women get more wiggle room! So the guy can still get on top of her. With room to spare. I understand now. And precisely why girls need full sized beds. Not a twin for two people! Ugh! English-speaking we do? I speak full English not twin English. From America. Why don't we call our language, American? We don't sound like the British! They don't even spell some things the same way! Like Center, they get backwards at the end. And they drive on the wrong side of the street! We would get arrested for that! Or kill somebody? Before we get arrested. And then they get the letters mixed up in their words as a result. And who speaks, Shakespearean English? For the man that had the greatest command of the English language. And created plenty of the words himself. Then Ben Franklin moved to America. Changed the English language. Created Philadelphia and a university. Wrote his autobiography and stated. He didn't believe much in the fairytale stories of his presbyterian Bible.. And then changed the spelling of Center. And Specter. And a few others. To make more sense out of English that didn't. Only to have southern Americans turn into millions of, retards! Add a sloppy twang. And forget most of the words in the English language. To give us that Appalachian twang of, inbred,, incestuous peoples. And the total mind FUCK conspiracy theories we hear today. By southern fried peoples. With an IQ far below that of any child. With only a,, third grade education. Of how babies are made. Daddy kisses mommy and you get baby brother! Then daddy has sex with your little sister! And gives you your stupid youngest brother! Who goes on to serve in the, US government. Being all retarded from, inbreeding with daddy! And that's the way of the US's, southern fried states. All their brains are fried from Jesus and inbreeding. With the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene. Amy Coney Island Barrett, Kari Lake and all other horrid, bigots, like them. With brain-dead Greg Abbott, murderer Dan Patrick, Canadian Ted Cruz, Jean Cornyn, Ted Paxton, Gary Cutler and other extreme lowlifes of Texas. That are not close to even being, Americans! They are enemy combatants of the United States federal Constitution. They are enemies of the United States! And Greg Abbott passes un-American laws against the LGBTQ community! Dan Patrick said he wants everybody over 65 in Texas to die! Because after retirement. You don't infuse any more money into the Texas economy. That's the most deranged,, demented and depraved thing! I've ever heard! Out of an elected official! That critter, IS NOT A HUMAN BEING! And he said he was 73 a couple of years ago and he wasn't afraid to die. I want him very much to die! And his entire lousy family. So they do not procreate and create more of him! I hope they all die! A horrible painful lingering death! For getting married to that lowlife! And providing him with more lowlife children! Hatched and programmed to hate all those who are not like themselves! And that's insane! And that's Republicunt's! And they are not human. They are cruel and inhumane, protoplasmic critters. Obviously from another planet! Yes! Scientists have stated. We don't know, how planet Earth and humans. Will know… If we have been contacted? By an extraterrestrial, civilization and beings. And how they may contact us? I think we now know. They have infested other, Homo sapien, critters. Your neighbors. Your boss. Your political officials. CEOs of major corporations that cannot fail! To keep handsomely lining the pockets of the, company executives! By taking from the poor and giving to the rich. And so that they can exhaust our planet of all of its important and necessary, natural resources. For their own ill-gotten gains! As any corrupt huuman would do here on earth! Of which we have plenty! As of the extraterrestrials may in fact, be far worse than, human beings? And they are here now! Many recently, reelected. For no good reasons! Such as Marjorie Taylor Greene. That's not a human being. That's something else entirely different.. It just looks like a Homo sapiens. But sure doesn't act or speak like one. She's from somewhere else. Not of this world. Because this is not how American humans, act. We get to agree to disagree. And allow our neighbors. To do what they please. As long as it does not directly affect us. And whatever they do in their private lives with their private bodies! And since we don't belong to the same religion. There should be no problems. As Americans get to do their independent thing. Though it's still not allowed. To kill people. Who have already come out from between some woman's legs. Called their mother. Just because you don't like their types. Which is how the KKK and American Nazi party came into being. In the USA. Filled with low IQ, low educational ladder, incestuous dysfunction. And want to call, sane Americans, crazy. Because they are certifiably, insane, themselves. And all other insane Americans like them. Like them. And think nothing's wrong. Because they have no capacity to actually, think. And then create conspiracy theories they call truths. If that is not certifiably insane? I don't know what is other than Hitler? They are all little Hitler's! They all want to, Have, control.. Of other people's lives in the USA! What the FUCK is wrong with that picture? It some other lowlife moron. That wants to control other people's lives in the USA. And so in the end. While our democracy has not been totally destroyed yet in the USA. It is on the way. By, bipedal critters. Who at times appear to be human but aren't. You've seen it in the science fiction movies. And most science fiction movies have come true! Our current crop of smart phones. Goes well beyond anything depicted in, Star Trek, back in 1966-69! With the only exceptions being,, faster than light speed travel and beam me up, Scotty.. The only two things! That and meeting other aliens. A lot more human than us! Like Mr. Spock & Data. But that's not who has visited us, already! It's a, nefarious, culture and civilization. That aims to destroy our planet and civilization. For their own ill-gotten gains. Just like Republicunt's here on earth. And dictators! Lots and lots of world dictators. We all know their ugly faces. They are the world's heretics. Always looking to attack and conquer! Of those who are, vulnerable and innocuous. As it makes their hell raising so much easier! To destroy those that can't destroy them. As in a business.. Too important to fail. But they need to fail! And fail big! In other words. These crazed dictators. They all want World War III. Because as boys. They like to blow things up and hassle others they don't like much. They are good little innocent boys that haven't done anything wrong! They just wanted to take back. That, they felt was rightfully theirs. Like, Taiwan and Ukraine and Crimea. Like South Korea for the North. And like, Finland into Russia. and maybe teaming up with a guy named She? To take back everything for total world domination! And… Well… Isn't that what Hitler also tried 100 years ago? Yes. It was. (Continued in next post)

    Hi, my husband and I use Dr. Bronners liquid , pure Castile soap, for showering and washing dishes in our travel trailer. We like that it comes in many scents, doesn’t create a heavy lather, and easily rinses off with minimal water. Be aware that the peppermint scent will make certain body parts tingle! I wash my hair with another product which is a shampoo/cream rinse combo. I find that if we have full hookups, water, sewer, electric, I can wash my hair without concern about fresh water usage and grey water levels. If boon docking, I tend not to wash my hair and I will take a quick, Navy shower with Dr Bronners.

    Yes, you could totally take a short shower every day and the more you do it the better you'd get at saving water. You would atleast need to keep it aired out to dry because it can stay damp for a long time is closed off.

    @@IreneIronTravels Thanks. Our Class A came with one but I need to replace one of the bottles and I can't find a replacement. I think ours is called a CONAIR.

    Great question! We do use it, mostly just for shade while working out or to shade that side of the RV when its hot out. Less in the winter time and more in the summer.
