It makes me so happy that you don’t encourage getting a monkey, just shows how much you respect the responsibility of taking care of them, it isn’t like getting a cat or dog that’s for sure.

Lisa Ramsey it’s in a much older video where boo gets held still while told to be nice. It was before Boo was neutered. Boo used to be waaay more energetic as a youngin with his testacles. Gettin older and loosin his balls chilled him out A LOT 😁🖤

Having a Pet Monkey takes as much responsibility as having a child. Alot of Hard Work and Constant Attention. Don't even think about it unless your willing to dedicate almost all of your time to their care.

Not gonna lie seeing you with Boo made me want a monkey so bad, but I’ve heard how you speak about the sheer responsibility it is and honestly a dog is more than enough to handle as is so Ill stick to that. Much props that you can own 3 of them and make it seem so easy while staying patient the whole time! Having KZread as a full time job pays off a lot!

He's tried to discourage people from getting monkeys as pets in many of his videos. I don't think he's ever given specifics on how he got Boo, and he side stepped the question here again, to his credit.

@@thesouthernlife4061 I don't think it's hypocritical at all the truth is many probably would regret it and realize the responsibility is quite high. There are times I don't even like having to deal with my cat and cats are generally considered low maintenance animals. There are just animals that require a lot more care and patience and the thought that an intelligent animal requires more care seems counterintuitive but it's true. Like racoons and probably moreso monkeys are highly intelligent animals meaning they are curious and can and do figure things out and get into things they're not supposed to. So imagine many people who like the idea of having an animal like this many of whom aren't willing to do the necessary research or somehow think it will be different for them and then get a monkey or worse more than one and aren't at all ready to deal with the needs that they require. I don't think it's like there are only a few special people that can be handlers but probably that it's really a time commitment and requires a lot of patience and a degree of education on them to be able to really put in what's required.

I love seeing Boo in drive thru's and playing at the Park.

Ahhh...I love when BOO rests his head on his feet, he was tired. BOO eats the tomato and offers Pete the peel, funny...BOO watches his pet human chew the food. BOO is the best monkey ever.

Pet monkey?? Not aware of any pet monkey here! Boo does have himself a pet human tho!!

Sadly a lot of Monkey Owners are really bad (especially with Macaques) but luckily there are also multiple others who take good Care of them. I had a monkey, Java named Gerome. I was 9-10 he was the best!! Loved him. Parents realized how much work and the expense after thinking Gerome was going to just be like a human baby. So great you DO NOT encourage a pet monkey. It's a constant 24/7 commitment. You give such love and commitment to your special family💞
