Today I will show you what is inside the Prague main railway station (Praha hlavní nádraží). And we will get there not from the main entrance, but from a completely different side.
Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hlavní nádraží) is
The largest passenger railway station in the Czech Republic and Prague's most crucial railway station. The historic building and the hall above the railway yard are among the most significant Art Nouveau monuments in the Czech Republic. Many shops and food establishments will make waiting for your connection more pleasant. Occasional-themed exhibitions are held in the check-in hall. It opened in 1871 as Franz Josef Station, after Franz Joseph I of Austria. During the First Republic and from 1945 to 1948, the station was called Wilson Station (Czech: Wilsonovo nádraží), after the former President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson.
In 2014, the station served 224,505 trains (610 daily) and more than 53,000,000 passengers.

Wonderful post. Feeling as if I were there wandering around.
Несколько раз во время приезда в Прагу я жила в Жижкове в 10 минутах ходьбы от вокзала. Ежедневно проходила мимо него, не раз была внутри, а также пользовалась услугами - уезжала в разные города Чехии и за ее пределы. Эта прогулка дала возможность вспомнить приятное время. Спасибо!

Great walk. I especially liked that you showed all the approaches to the station. I heard that Seifertova and the park in front of the station are dangerous places where you can get robbed. Is this still the case?
