@Sterling Crowne It is clear in Sacred Scripture that the saints in Heaven will intercede for us before the throne of Christ if they are petitioned in prayer (Apoc. 8:3-4),

The Blessed Virgin Mary did not die. She was assumed into heaven. I believe that was her greatest gift by Jesus Christ, to intercede for all of us. Before Jesus released his last breath, He said to Our Lady, “Women, behold thy son.” To the disciple John, “Behold your MOTHER.” I won’t listen to any Protestant who blasphemed against the Mother of God. I shall only pray for them, lest they perish. Jesus Christ has the right to proclaim His mother on earth as Queen of Heaven. He is God himself.

@Sterling Crowne, I think you are mixing up necromancy and prayer. The former is to try to find out the future by communicating with the dead and that is sinful (eg Saul consulting with the witch of Endor). The latter is asking for their intercession with God. The people of God in the Old Testament and the New Testament believed in the intercession of the dead holy people. This was the belief of all of Christendom till the 16th century. In the Bible we read this verse "And the Lord said to me: If Moses and Samuel shall stand before me, my soul is not towards this people:cast them out from mysight, and let them go forth." Jer 15:1 God’s words to Jeremiah implies that the dead can pray for the living. Moses and Samuel lived and died at separate times before Jeremiah. God would not have said this if it was not an existing truth. It was said because the prophet Jeramiah took it for granted, meaning he understood and accepted intercession of the holy dead persons as a possibility. Jeremiah knew that this was ordinary and part of the Jewish Tradition that the Jews have been already practicing. As a matter of fact, the Jews still practice this today. The Jews pray to their holy patriarchs and matriarchs for their intercession. So asking for the intercession of holy people (dead or alive) was nothing new that the Catholics invented. Here is a prayer that the Jews pray for the intercession of Rachel: "Oh Merciful King! I have come to pray at Tomb of Rachel our Matriarch. Let her good acts stand in my steed, especially her heartfelt prayers to You when she was barren which You answered. In her merit please answer my prayers and the prayers of my fellow Jews. Listen to what I utter before You, and fulfill my inner most needs. Jacob buried Rachel on the roadside and not in Bethlehem so that she could come to he assistance of her children's children atvthe destruction of the first Temple. Then You hearkened and returned us after seventy years. But now, with a galus of over 1900 years since the destruction of the secondTemple, we plead that You will again hearken to her prayers…" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here is a Jewish site that explains how Jews pray to Moses and other holy OT saints for their intercession: www.chabad.org/parshah/article_cdo/aid/459520/jewish/Rachels-Amazing-Secret.htm +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here is a picture of Jewish people praying at David’s tomb in Jerusalem. Notice that they have their hands on the tomb in the same way as a Catholic or an Orthodox would pray by a saint’s tomb: www.gettyimages.ca/detail/news-photo/ultra-orthodox-jews-pray-inside-the-king-davids-tomb-in-the-news-photo/489794581?#/ultraorthodox-jews-pray-inside-the-king-davids-tomb-in-the-old-city-picture-id489794581

@@drdr1957, Not all our sins are from the devil only. We have to also fight the flesh and the world. The Jesus prayer is a well known Eastern Orthodox prayer. It is short and easy to remember. Saint Teresa of Avila discussed the use of Holy Water as a good means to repel the devil. She said that she noticed that if she made the sign of the Cross, the devil would go and come back soon. She noticed that Holy Water is more efficacious because it depends of the prayer of the Church (meaning that her personal prayer is not as powerful as the prayer of the Church)

Father Ripperger is & has been an absolute GIFT from GOD... I respect him so much more than the average priest, as he is not afraid to stand up & speak what truth is... Especially in the last few minutes in this sermon, the man shines once again not concerned about going with the flow or to not ruffle any metaphorical feathers, HE TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. I wish that he would make a sermon or lecture on how to cope with the insanity, rudeness, disrespect, and incredible lack of decency in the USA... His reference to "Modernism" is what I've been trying to explain to a few people over the years... that just because "Everyone is doing X,Y,Z" that I will not stop being "so religious", etc. I refuse to fit in to a society that thinks a complete lack of morals is a "personal choice", or that disgusting pornography is a "freedom". Father Ripperger literally RIPS into the B.S. of so-called "modern" society. Thanks to this priest's insights and knowledge shared on his sermons/classes/lectures, I have connected more fully with Father God than ever before. May God & Christ reward him and protect him from the demonic forces that must surely know they don't stand a chance against Ripperger's amazing soul that Jesus Christ will protect. I pray that this priest always has divine assistance through Christ's mighty authority, always & forever.

M A I have just been listening to Fr Ripperger explain virtues and vices... from what I understood, the way to cope with the rudeness, disrespect, lack of decency etc of others is to exercise humility and focus on our love for God rather than ourselves. We cannot help if others around us don’t submit to the will of God, but we can ensure that we do. Pray for the sinners (including ourselves!) and find comfort in the beautiful gift of hope.

Fr Ripperger also has opened my eyes, along with many other people's, that if/when I catch myself conditioned to say "I think..." or "I feel..." should be REPLACED with "GOD SAYS..." Unless someone is placing you in peril with regard to your basic safety, that we brethren can undo some of the social conditioning just like Father Ripperger mentions. On a more humble note, it certainly takes many practice opportunities for me to fail, get back up, try again... etc. about what does GOD want/expect of me? (Not whatever is convenient for me, or "easier"... but what GOD's truth expects) After watching this latest video, i had the epiphany of What good does it do for me to do my own will in this life? We all have limited time and opportunity to work on our souls, and whose opinion matters the MOST? GOD's!

Thank you Sensus Fidelium for broadcasting. I've spent my whole life attending English mass, not knowing what the terms 'Novus Ordo' or 'Cradle Catholic' meant. I learnt them from the breakaways and allowed them to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Latin Mass is always preferred, but when it is not available you don't miss the English Mass on a Sunday in protest - that's a mortal sin. Now we have no mass! We are valid and we are all part of the Bride of Christ. As for the current pope - I don't have the graces to understand what is going on or the theological knowledge needed, and that alone brings me peace. Thanks Fr R.

Intelligent people know that smoking is bad for them. Wise people do not smoke. 19:18 - This was a good video. So often I read conversations on-line. And it is clear that some participants really have a poor understanding of the topic being discussed. They will engage in outlandish claims that are very inaccurate. Sometimes others let them amble on for their amusement. And in some cases they will claim to be 'offended' if one corrects them. It's a terrible state when "not offending" someone is more important than correcting them. If we possess the truth, then we need to speak the truth with a kind heart, no matter how hard it can be.

"the moral code is not at my discretion". I find this to be one of the most freeing things about Catholicism. This doesn't mean I live up to the code any better than anyone else but it infuriates me to no end when others try to formulate their own standard of what's right or wrong...

Alex Forst 1) 'I know that there are objective standards of morality and they are The 10 Commandments/God's Holy Will' vs. 2) 'MY standard of morality is the correct one'. A moral realist cum Divine Command Theory proponent accepts 1 but 2 only if 'my standard of morality' designates 10 Commandments. He would reject 2 if the standard referred to was of my own making. The people who tick you off- moral relativists- are notorious for attempting to foist the 2nd interpretation of 2 upon their realist opponents.

Alex, most people do not live up to the standard they set for themselves. They always fall short. That is why it is a good idea to have a high standard as a goal (perfect as The Father is Perfect) and try to reach it in our lifetime. Of course we cannot reach this perfection on our own, but some of the saints reached it by the help of God.

Except for one thing you said in your presentation that is not altogether clear to me as to why so many words were spoken in your presentation and so can you please explain for sure what you meant in context when using the word extract to describe a thought about something seen outside yourself? Did you mean the word extrapolate instead? If so I understand what you meant. If that is not the word you meant at all the what is it elementary that you and others believe I should be grasping of better? Would that be medical marijuana prescribed to me now too to grasp in preparation for me to be making a better presentation of myself when next maybe another priest pays a visit to me again to make sure I am following the right Lord?

Even with the volume on my computer at maximum, I am still left pressing my ear to the speaker on the bottom on my computer, which allows me to hear 90% of what father is saying, while probably incurring all sorts of harmful radiation of emfs to the brain. When father speaks directly to his audience it is somewhat audible, but every time he turns to write on the board, the sound quality drops. One is at the bottom right of your desktop screen where you will see a sound icon. The other one is bottom of the video screen (on youtube) to the left. The third way is to type "volume" or "sound" on the bottom left of your desk top where you can see a search icon (magnifying glass icon). This last way might be different on different computers by I am assuming you have windows 10. I would say no. Immodesty is a sin, which can happen at a beach or pool. Consenting to long gazes at immodest people that sexually excites would be a sin (keyword being consenting). We should practice custody of the eyes. If you're good at that then I would say enjoy the beach.

@@JordonHill , admonishing our brethren is a work of mercy. But one cannot admonish their brethren, if one does not have a deep understanding of the Faith or if one is not on a high spiritual level. In other words, the blind cannot lead the blind. The more ones eyes are open (higher holiness), the more one can teach their brethren. That is why the Church tells us to read the writings of the saints. They were high on the scale of holiness and due to their closeness to Christ, they know much more than the rest of us struggling at the lower levels of the spiritual ladder.

I've struggled with chastity in the past so I will sometimes try to put weight on on purpose to be less attractive for fear ill fall back into fornication. This is also scruples and destructive to the body and health. But I am afraid to be attractive for this fear. also growing up had a really unhealthy fear of going to hell. Even if I'd go to confession and get absolution, I'd still have doubts. I'd get depressed about this. I do think scruples are also the devil trying to convince you you're not in a state of grace when you are. (When I say *highly intelligent,* we're talking about a Ph.D. who has a job in private industry as an engineer designing nuclear power plants.) He's not *unintelligent;* his head is in the clouds much of the time, and so he's absent-minded. He's not in the habit of attending to the demands of the mundane *Present Moment*. . . . which is, of course, a defect that he needs to correct. After all, the Absent-minded Professor is a well-known and good-naturedly humorous stereotype of some highly intelligent people.

*The Poem of the Man-God is of divine origin,* and it is no wonder Fr. Ripperger doesn't believe in it since he just opened up one page and was prejudiced. If he were to apply his intelligence, to gain knowledge, and not be found in willing ignorance on the most massive work of all Church History on the life of Christ, then he would be an advocate of it. Indeed it was put on the index, just like the revelations of St. Faustina and many other saints, it is far from being a rare thing, later the index was lifted, just as with the others. Fr. Ripperger says that the intellectually weak are often favored by God with revelations in order to help the credibility of the divine messages, yet he does not see the utter impossibility and irrationality of such a massive and colossal work as the Poem of the Man-God being the fruit of an impious mind. Father is very intelligent, but he is wrong on this one. The English Catholic world is profoundly ignorant as to this divine work it seems to me, but the French and Italian Catholic world has been steadily making headway on this. I add finally that I have no anger or resentment against Fr. Ripperger, I recognize my inferiority in God's Kingdom, I am no fool or usurper of authority. In fact, my favorite priest is Fr. Ripperger and he has always been a great inspiration in my Catholic life, my hope is simply that the English Catholic world, and by extension the entire Catholic world, will become more and more aware of Maria Valtorta, for the glory of God's Son.
