Fr Ripperger is a blessing from God in these end times. He's like my Math teacher, explains difficult concepts so well that I've come to love the subject..of perceiving the essentials to get to heaven & draw the others too there with the advice he gives. God is great. May He protect our Clergy! Viva Christo Rey! 😊🌹🤍🌈

I wish he could redo some of those which are severely straining to follow, even for a foreigner with C-level English. At least the series on spiritual warfare. I wonder if someone could set up a simple and efficient guide for affordable equipment on how to record speeches perfectly. I'd also help my local Dominicans with that.

i agree. Many of his videos are made when he is giving a presentation to a noisy rude crowd full of screaming babies, dishes being moved, and a general din. Others are given to teens who giggle and laugh idiotically when nothing is funny (I assume to relieve the tension they feel hearing such dark material). He needs to simply do a series in front of a microphone in a quiet room.

Good for me. Guardian angel has been so very patient and I must be more respectful of him. He has put up with a lot and I never say "thank you". Bad for me! Learning to laugh at myself which has been hard. Good for me..........

I would think it all depends on the intention and the circumstances. If during a Friday of Lent, we are invited to a dinner where the offered dish is meat, then we can tell the host that we cannot eat meat but can eat fish (for example). If someone that we know is trying to grow spiritually and asks us what we give up for Lent (in order that they get examples to learn from), then there is nothing wrong in telling them for example "I give up watching TV" or "I say a chaplet of Mercy every day of Lent" etc......The problem comes when penances are told to others when there is no good reason to do so.

So I found out a great deal about myself, too great to bear so I gave up in despair. I don't want to go to God and ask for forgiveness while still being so proud and lustful years after years without a slightest change. So I ask: how can I gain enough hope that will let me humiliate myself once more and go to the Church to confess and try again?

The answer according to St Teresa of Avila is "Prayer". Prayer is what will get you started in the road to perfection. Pray even if you are still in mortal sin, and ask God to give you the grace of conversion. Go to Church specially on Sunday and just attend Mass, even if you are still sinning but do not take Communion till you have decided to leave sin and go to confession. You can also go other times and just sit before the Blessed Sacrament and ask Christ for the grace of conversion and leaving a life of sin. Just being in the presence of God will change you. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Also remember that "despair" cannot be from God since according to the Bible, He wills the conversion of all sinners and wants us all saved. This feeling of despair is from the devil. Why do you think Christ died? it was to save sinners like you and me. So He wills you to convert and He will do everything to save His creatures. So take advantage of what He is offering us.If you fall again into mortal sin, do not give up but go back to confession. Repeat this as needed (plus prayer and reading spiritual books) till you get over all mortal sins. With time your weakness and the mortal sins will be a thing of the past- but you have to make an act of the will to do this and persevere in it no matter what.

Thank You for those answers. Yes, I do believe it's the only way, but just cannot follow. Let me try to explain my problem by analogy to the situation of a man betraying his wife for a 100th time. He knows that she knows and he knows that she's willing to forgive him again. He can force himself to ask her once again not only for fogiveness but to show him as much love to give him enough power to overcome his adultery addiction. He cannot look her in the eyes. He cannot leave her either, because she's his life. He can only condemn himself, regardless of a knowledge that the one who whispers to his ear that urge, is his worst enemy that wants him dead. Maybe the only action that is manly enough to escape that situation is to follow that last temptation and to go for a suicide? After all it would be better for him to throw himself into the water than to scandalize, deprave or corrupt others.

nietylkodupamnieboli Every confession is an opportunity to learn about your defects. Is your habit, pornography? Because I struggle with it as well but I can tell you I'm a lot better off than when I was hooked on it in middle school. If you are trying and praying and frequenting confession, each fall will be different. I used to fall out of an evil curioisity and intentional wantonness. Now I fall because I am tortured by demons of withdrawal for a good while. It's much different and it happens a lot less frequently. Never give up because that's HOW the devil gets us in the end. That's how all addictions work, it's a battle against despair and ego itself. If we keep trying and doing our utmost to avoid occasions of sin, one day Jesus will use us to testify to His saving power. I recommend the 33 day consecration to the Blessed Mother and Our Lady Undoer of Knots novenas. Seek out a spiritual counsellor and a fellowship of brothers to talk to. Sometimes we need actual deliverance from demons. Sometimes we need to forgive others and ourselves from the past to release the anxieties the dark ones use to push our buttons and make us turn to addictions to escape from reality. It's much more complicated than we think than just a lack of willpower, because that lack of willpower is actually fed by many things. I will add you to my prayer intentions. And NEVER think that God doesn't love you. He loves you more than you or any spouse could love yourself. I recommend reading the Dolors and Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ by Saint Anne Emmerich for an insight to the heroic, humble, loving and selfless character of Our Lord. It will help you dispel the false notions we have of Him.

There are many people that fall into the sin of adultery and who have repented. I never heard of a repentant adulterer killing himself. Repenting would do the opposite of "scandalize, deprave or corrupt others". God has forgiven worst sins than adultery. Do not fall into the sin of despair -it is not from God but from the devil. Despair is one of the ways the devil could finally get the soul for all eternity. Do not fall for it. Do the opposite and fall into the arms of the God who loves you so that you will live with Him for all eternity.

What can a woman do when she is married to a horrible, verbally abuseive, nasty, man who curses God and takes God name in vain many times a day and has been hateful to his wife and children for many years. He also said he tried to sale his soul to the devil for money but it he said it didn't work. I refuse to be like him. I always believed we are to stay away from occasions of sin and that is exactly what my husband is. I am not real happy about being verbal abused.
