Episode 2 was spectacular. Ive read every chapter even the extras but A-1 has done such a great job so far that it feels like the beginning all over again

The animation studio did awesome work in adapting this so far! Seeing all the hunters being slaughtered was so crazy! The hype is definitely real right now 👍🔥

Hearing all your questions about how their world came out to be like a game, made me realize more how great the world building in this manhwa is. All these questions will be answered in the latter part (Sung jinwoo being a player and why gates started appearing. ) and then everything that happened will make sense. I inhaled the manwha in 2 weeks after i started which was my first reading binge ever and oh boy was it a ride. Boys, i cannot wait for the upcoming episodes because we are in for a wild ride!

I will say that shock and panic does make you do the stupidest and idiotic things. IRL my kitchen was on fire in the middle of the night as I woke up to the fire alarm and thick smoke filling the house. Out of sheer panic, I frantically took the pyro containing the lasagna out of the stove with my bare hands. I burned my hand, I couldn't find the fire extinguisher, the smoke was even thicker, I ran out and called emergency while the front door was left open which made the fire worse. So to defend these "idiots", in hindsight we can only see things as it has happened or developed. Panic is scary once sh!t hits the fan believe that.

After Solo Leveling came out with this concept, it was so new that everyone loved it. Now, this kind of "Player" and "Leveling" setting and plot have become a common and popular genre in itself. edit: I did not mean that SL was the one that invented this concept, neither did SSN. This genre had been popular in SK as well. Other novels had done similar dungeon/ time travel concepts before. SL however, was the first to see such popularity and success.

Let me correct myself then. Solo Leveling's success brought many mangas to be published with the exact same concept. Solo Leveling sure doesn't own the concept. It outdid the rest of them all. After that, this concept started becoming popular. As for Seoul Station Necromancer, no that wasn't plagiarised. Both the novels started in the year 2014 and had strikingly similar concepts so issues did arise but it cannot be proven that SL plagiarised SSN. STRIKING SIMILARITY ✅ PLAGIARISM ❎ It is true however that the webtoon SL saw a huge rise in popularity and was the first to introduce international webtoon fans to this new sorta "genre/concept". @@Lowlightt

So by "player" they mean players in games that can level up and stuff. If you remembered, they said in episode 1 that once you awaken your rank, you can't change it or level up. So if you awaken as a C-rank, then you'll stay a C-rank for your entire life. But a video game player can level up, and that's why this series is called "Solo Leveling" because only the mc has the ability to level up.
