In this video we discussed one of the most important inprocess test of tablets known as friability test or drop test.The compression process is not started untill the friability of tablets is not determined.After line clearance we adjust tablet weight,hardness,thickness and then perform friability test.If friability test pass then we start our compression process and if friability test fails we make adjustments to bring friability values within range means NMT 1%.
The apparatus used for friability test is known as roche friabilator.
