I asked this question in 8th grade Earth Science class, in 1977(8), and the teacher laughed at me. "What do you mean, What is fire. Fire is fire!" I've asked it in other classes since then, and gotten similar responses. Thank you for confirming that it is a valid question.

The state of fire is not a state of solid or liquid or gas but it's a fourth state which exists for time being. The state of fire runs the Universe. Its said mythologicaly that everything gets purified or becomes free after it undergoes the state of fire

    2 жыл бұрын

@@aliensarerealttsa6198 Oh please. Yes, gas is hollow. I’m pretty sure everyone here knows there’s a whole lot of space in every thing. But that’s on an atomic level. He showed us hollow flames on a level that we can see with our naked eyes. Means flames being hollow is not a consequence of the empty space in everything. From what I understand from what he said, the reaction only lights up when it reaches air. So basically it’s burning faster than the air can fIll the space it’s occupying. Sort of like skipping in the rain so fast that the water drops don’t touch u, creating a dome shaped thingy. If that’s not cool, I don’t know what is

The color of the flame also depends on the element that is undergoing combustion. In addition to heat being generated because electrons are in lower orbitals, light is given off which depends on the spectra of different elements. Copper is green, strontium is red, for example. Fireworks are examples of the colors of different elements.

There's another video floating around where a candle flame is subjected to a 25kV electric field and the flame is ripped apart as negative and positive ions zoom off in opposite directions. Many people fall into the trap of thinking they have explained something just by giving it a name. For example, why does a fire produce heat? Ans: Because it's an exothermic chemical reaction. That's like saying a fire gives off heat because it gives off heat. An in-depth explanation is far more complex and must take into account the kinetic energies of the atoms or molecules involved. So, the question becomes, what causes the increase in the sum-total kinetic energy?

its not ok to be smart,,if you see people you know suffer severe consequences "coincidentally" the same week of the vaccine,,you shouldn't make the smart decision but shut off your thought and take the poison as the big pharma cult leaders tell you to, even though the only thing it does is hurt people and does not do anything they say it does ,and the cult group is protected from any repercussion,,shut off your thinking and take the poison ,,,,,ummmm well maybe its ok to be smart,,,,but its not ok to think,, you must let others do the thinking for you

@@silence-humility-calmness --- the 'vaccine' is nothing more than SARS 2. They thought the antibodies from recovery would kill off this new strain of coronavirus, but it's been engineered in a lab, and behaves erratically when attacked. No, the vaccine won't save you. Might help a teensie bit. I recommend shutting off the TV and getting a hold of some hydroxy chloroquine, maybe a bit of that stuff Joe Rogan took. Covid is no joke, it twisted me up like Macho Man Randy Savage and left me weak for two weeks after. It's still not the killer they want you to think it is, though. Vitamin C, quit with the alcohol and smoking for a couple weeks, lots of rest and cool showers. Should be fine.

It's interesting how fire is one of those things that we all know about, but most of us struggle to understand what exactly it _is_. I remember at one point as a kid I had someone tell me that fire was made of a state of matter called "plasma", and that's why it glowed. I stuck with that explanation for much of my youth. But that's not what fire is, and this video demonstrates that. The way I understand it, the chemical reactions involved in combustion occur in a fuzzy hollow spheroid interface surrounding but not including the wick. This is the frontier between the air and the gaseous fuel. And as explained in the video, the yellow-orange part of the flame is just hot soot, glowing in much the same way that hot metal glows. In this area, which is often the largest visible part of what we call a flame, there isn't a whole lot of chemical activity going on. Which I think runs in direct opposition to what our instincts tell us. After all, the warm-colored part of the flame is the biggest and brightest part. And when we're using a flame for light more than for heat, it is also the most important part. Such esteem makes it seem like this might be where the greatest amount of chemical activity is taking place, even though that's not true. I really enjoy channels like this that encourage people to challenge and explore their assumptions.

After 33 years, I finally realized this about the word "Fire". You take away the F, and you're left with Ire, Ire is the word "anger" to strike someone's anger like you would strike a match to create fire. Same thing with the country of Ireland, Ireland, or Angerland. Fire or Ire comes from its nature of burning passion, anger, love, etc.
