What Is Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)?

Ғылым және технология

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a structured methodology primarily designed to identify and address potential failures in a system. The core idea of FMEA is to anticipate and mitigate failures. It involves a detailed examination of the components of a system to pinpoint where and how failures might happen, what their causes could be, and the potential effects on the overall system. FMEA helps ensure that every potential point of failure is accounted for, thereby bolstering the integrity and robustness of designs.

Excellent content well presented. One minor nit to pick. In the bicycle example, the bicycle image shown doesn't have a front brake. It doesn't have any brakes. It looks like a fixed gear track bike commonly ridden on velodromes.

Hi - thanks for watching! We typically use licensed images for our videos, and I felt just having a simple image of a bicycle would suffice.

Great video, can you a simulation on overcurrent protection of ac microgrids using mixed characteristics curves of relays.
