There are more bushes that need to be checked then there are wards available so face checking is a reality. But it should only be done by someone who is tanky enough and has enough nearby allies to win. A Sion face check is very very different from an Oriana face check.

I started playing in December, love it! I learnt all these lessons the hard way 😅

To be fair, if the entire enemy team is hiding in a bush and you walk up to it, even if you use a ward you're already too close, you're probably not getting away.

Lööps The face check killed me when Volibear showed up behind him. I got scared for myself. Its giving me PTSD.

As an ADC/Support player (yes I play both), this hurts really, really bad. For both reasons; even though I always buy control wards even as ADC, there's always a temptation to do a face check for some reason.

With how many disruption effects are in the game (stuns, hooks, roots, etc.) and how high damage is (in general) compared to defenses, unless you're warding over a wall (and even then that isn't a good idea against a sizeable portion of the champion pool), I really wish wards had a larger placement radius. I don't mind if the vision radius remains the same or even diminishes ever-so-slightly to compensate: we need to be able to place the wards in the first place without being blown the eff up!
