Equality has three different meanings. First, equality means the absence of any special privilege for anyone. By equality, we mean that everyone can enjoy equal and same rights. Second, by equality, we mean equal opportunities to develop one’s abilities and facilities of mind and body. In this regard, it is the duty of the state to provide such opportunities to its citizens. Third, equality means that everyone is equal before the law.
Besides this, there are three main kinds of equality. This includes Civil or Legal equality, Political Equality, and Economic Equality. The explanation of these is given in the video.
