Since you loved Arcane, I think you'd absolutely love Attack on Titan. Something both Arcane and AoT do amazingly well is character building, character layers, all that good stuff. Plus, AoT has one of the best plots in all TV history. Many people actually put the show up there with Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad.

Attack on titan is an absolute masterpiece of a story basically a modern classic, highly recommend watching it even if you do it on your own withour making it into videos. We should be getting the last episode about 1 month so attack on titan is finishing its story then.

It's so apocalyptic and gritty (and much more darkly realistic than most of the other ones), and it's also super unique for an anime opening. By far one of my favorites - bit of an acquired taste (as with the Rumbling), but once it's sunk its fangs in you it's not letting go.

Umm yes, usually a lot earlier than you would think...

That "opening 8", Under the Tree, is the main song for the Season 4 Part 3 Part 1 episode, which is a 1hr+ long episode continuation of the story in season 4. The 2nd part of that (which will presumably be another 1hr+ long episode) will be the finale of the show. The song doesnt have visuals to go along with it like the others in an "opening" format because it is for a movie-length episode, and it plays in the end-credits, but it is basically that episode's "opening song" for being its main song

yeah... just titans eating humans... how simple times are!

I like how The Rumbling (last op) is always a life changing experience when you first hear it. 😂 Also if you do later a react to the endings you will be able to include "Under the tree" since it's kinda the ending of the last episode. :) Keep going you're great !

I think people shouldn't react to under the tree or at least not to the official amv because it's just so full of spoilers. They should just react to the song or to the images shown in the actual movie when the song plays

Thank the Lord! I'm so glad you didn't watch the "all AoT openings 60fps" video that butchers the animation, but EVERY channel seems to watch it when reacting to these OPs. Edit: OP 2 was in 60fps but at least all the others had their normal frame rate.

I won’t spoil anything but “the basement” whatever it is, is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen in all of fiction

Try to avoid spoilers as much as you can. Attack on titan watch experience is more affected by spoilers than most other stories because almost the entire story you're asking questions and waiting in anticipation for the amazing reveals. The reveals and plot twists are the best parts and being spoiled would be very sad.

I will not confirm or deny any of your guesses, but what I CAN tell you, is this show is amazing. I even got my parents obsessed with it. We're basically counting the days for the last part.

14:10 I believe it was establishing a similarity between the predator-prey relationship in the wild and humans and titans, also highlighting the hearts for the message of all living beings wanting to survive (plus the chorus lyrics are "dedicate/give your hearts" a phrase used in the show for motivation and loyalty).

Uh, Georgie, this was kind of a mistake because the later openings kinda... absolutely spoil the plot Granted, you don't have any context for any of it, but you get just enough clues to make you speculate the plot twists

the thing with anime only getting 1 seasons usually reason is that the anime is made to promote the original source material more but if gains enough popularity itll get more seasons provided source material has content to cover it AoT's manga only ended quite recent while the show was ongoing

There are also full versions of most of the openings (if not all) and they slam even harder. The newest one just dropped 2 days ago. (for the newest opening as well)

Well I can't confirm or deny any of your theories, what i can tell you is the sinopsis of the first episode: 'The world is plagued by misterious feral giants that eat people called titans, the last of humanity resides inside concentric 3 rings of 60 meter walls, a group of the military called the Recon Core go outside on a regular basis to explore and find the possibility of taking more land for humanity, however they are on a losing battle against the titans, taking massive amounts of casualties everytime they go against the unending titan threat, a 10 year old boy named Eren Yeager dreams with going outside of the walls and explore the outside world, he plans to join the Recon Core and make a difference." Obviously more information is revealed along the seasons uncovering the mistery of the titans and the outside world but most often than not it answers a question but opens 4 more, right up until the end of the series

Watching this video really made me curious regarding how you'd react to the episodes of AoT, considering you seem to be so sharp and quick to pick things up. I think you would appreciate the plot and really should give this one a go...

Now you need to watch the show. The openings do show a little more than they should, yes... but the show's still as enjoyable as otherwise. definitely recommended. It's easy to get spoiled of specific plot points though from the internet so that is something to watch out for. Something cool about the show is that it feels like later plot points were planned long beforehand. I have heard that a large amount of the series was planned before the writer of the manga started putting pencil to paper. He did work with the production of the anime as well and I think he considers it the definitive version of his story.

Did not expect you to have not seen this one - definitely worth a try, even if it's mainstream. AoT does have a great story most of the way through, though the ending is very controversial (idk what it is, not a manga reader)

1 season is 24 episode, so it has 2 opening and ending. 1st OP for episode 1-12 and 2nd OP for episode 13-24. The rest is the same. But some anime only have 12 episode for 1 season. So, 12 episode is the length for 1 opening and 1 ending song.

Just a clarification, everyone even with context is confused about the dinosaur in the opening, there's no dinosaurs in the series, it's just a really odd decision by the show creators, if you do some mental gymnastics it's possible to make sense of it but it's really obscure even for people who read the manga

There's so much to talk about with Rumbling. Just the lyrics alone feel like a massive reflection on just everything that's come before. Mainly because they are, and it's rare shows get to do something like that because, as you said, it's rare for shows to get that far into the adaptation process that they can actually have the full story realized in animation. AOT was almost another series like that. I think it was like... 5 or 6 years. The gap of time between season 1 being animated and season 2 being animated, that is.

You should do the outros as well, they are awesome.
