What is an Augmented Matrix? | Linear Algebra, Matrix Theory, Augmented Matrices
What is an augmented matrix? Augmented matrices are created by joining the columns of two matrices, and they're surprisingly useful! In today's video math lesson, we'll go over augmented matrices and briefly introduce some of their uses, like finding the inverse of a matrix and solving systems of linear equations.
Solving systems of linear equations using augmented matrices is a common use. The augmented matrix in this situation is created by joining what is called the coefficient matrix with the constant matrix, we'll go over all of this in more detail in another lesson, but hopefully this video gets you excited to continue studying matrices!

Is there a way to figure out from the matrix if the lines are parallel(no solution or infinite solutions) without going back and find the slope of each line
Thanks for explaining. Great video
