This is the best description of adjusting ski boot cuffs that I have found so far but I wish it had gone a bit further to show how to adjust the cuffs as that would have been even more helpful. Ski boot manufacturers put an adjustment screw on the side of the boot and call it "canting" which most people agree it isn't canting it is cuff adjustment; I would love to know why the boot manufacturers label it as canting?

I am glad that you found it helpful! We are planning to make a series of short videos showing how to adjust the various systems that exist... stay tuned (probably a month or so until we post those). I think that the term "cuff canting" comes from one of the meanings of the verb "to cant", which means "to set something at an angle". Whether we are setting the cuff at an angle or the entire boot at an angle. the term "to cant" would be accurate. However, I agree with you... it's much simpler for all skiers if we can use a different term to differentiate between aligning one's cuffs and changing the angle under one's boot sole.
