How to add cork to your ZipFit ski boot liners

Customize your ZipFit ski boot liners for your specific foot morphology by adding cork. You'll need an OMFit cork kit from zipfit.com, a means for warming the cork tube, your liners and ski boots! In this video, Jeff assists Drew with his GFT touring liners.

    why would you add more cork to get rid of a pressure point? Wouldn't removing it help in that case? Thanks!

    Great with the visual of where the pockets are! I was watching Big Picture Skiing and there was this Corsa liner (?) with a powerstrap and removable tongue, is it available for the public?

    Hi Alvar, thanks for watching! This is the GFT liner. The Corsa liner does come with a removable tongue and is available at local ski shops and online.

    The GFT is described as low volume. If you add more cork to the ankles, will it transform to fit a mid volume shell?

    Great question, you can adjust the fit by adding more cork. We intend this process to be "spot fitting" meaning adding cork to specific voids in your fit. That said, if you add a couple of grams to each ankle pouch and closer to a full tube of cork (15g per tube) to each tongue, that will build the GFT out to work in a higher volume shell. I would recommend making small changes to one line and comparing the fit to the other liner, using one as a control and one as an experiment.
