90%??? That is a bullshit. In 2022 58% of the internet most famous websites have a secure implementation of HTTPS. And you are saying that in 2020 ''90% of the internet is HTTPS''. Inform yourself before writing such nonsenses.

The company I work with started using VPN - mandatory for all WFH employees - but it's a bit different than what you describe here, it can only be used to access companies recourses. The encryption part is the same, though, googled a bit to see how it works.

Great sharing NordVPN! I would like to ask something. Let me give an example :- I go in to a cafe. Bought a coffee and start connecting to a public wifi. In this moment, vpn will not be directly turn on because i need to first connect to the public wifi first. After connecting to the wifi . Next step is to turn on my vpn. My question is , the moment between 1. And 3. :- 1. Connected to public Wifi 2. (Before turning on vpn) 3. Connected to VPN Will the moment of 2. Unsecure my privacy and data? Sorry Im still learning about VPN, most of the video doesnt mention this. I’m very curious on this. Appreciate for reading!

A VPN will only mask your connection to external networks not your local network (in this case your public wifi provider), if you are connected to a sites like say Netflix or KZread then you will remain anonymous as the public wifi network administrator(s) will only see you connecting to a NordVPN server rather than the actual IP of the Netflix or KZread servers.

Business VPNs are usually VPNs you'd use in an office to access company's files, etc. We have a business solution nordvpnteams.com as well. The encryption part works similarly. Commercial VPNs are for personal use. E.g. you can use NordVPN for up to 6 devices at the same time.

Back when I used to use soft soft when I knew it kind of well I used the soft roll to make softs I thought it was just more effective

I was surprised when I learnt about Netflix content restrictions policy... for 2 years I've been streaming Netflix thinking they provide the same content for all regions equally... but apparently, only with a VPN you can have access to TVs in other countries.

Can I access websites that I have been banned from?

I have Nord. Usually when I login in it brings me to screen that says "Great- You're in!". Then when I hit Continue is just brings up the login screen again. You can do it a hundred times and it just keeps going in circles. Eventually it might work. I've been in touch with support. That didn't help. Using this VPN requires some extra time and patience.

not quite understandong this. Can I use vpn to make my work computer know I am using the internet in Canada / Usa when I am in Asia? because if work computer detect asia IP address, it blocks it. Does VPN solve this issue?

This VPN doesn't let me live chat with anyone you going to email the company it doesn't let you mock your location so when I go on Snapchat it tells me exactly where I am shouldn't it be telling me I'm in Mexico or the UK.

I already use Nord vpn and have for a couple of years, If I live in Poland for example and travel to USA, as long as I have Nord enabled with Poland as my base, would I escape roaming charges on my data?

Nope, roaming means you are actually using the telco/ISP network from the country where you are roaming with a rate as agreed by your native country telco. In this case you are actually connected to a US telco/ISP provider who is charging for the line and data usage your native telco in Poland and eventually billed to you, a VPN does nothing but mask your IP, you are still connected to a local ISP like those in the US one way or another.

First case about HTTP not accurate yes no one can see your data if he sits between you and vpn provider but not between vpn provider and final destination.

Is that a fatal flaw in NordVPN?: if you use a mail client, your email provider might not allow sending outgoing mail through email client connected to a VPN. It seems that it is not possible to bypass the VPN in certain applications.

What you can do with NordVPN is buy a dedicated IP address. So your real IP address will be hidden, but since you'll be using a fixed ip on the VPN you'll be able to use applications that otherwise would be blacklisted.

Several years ago using a VPN on a public Wi-Fi was just unbearable due to low speeds. Either VPNs got better, or my public library ordered a new Internet plan.

Using a VPN is one thing but limiting social media is entirely different. Netflix has tons of documentaries like Social dilemma, the recent one, it's srsly frightening the way social networks work and how they sell user as a product :S

I contacted the company about them taking advantage of me with their "30 day free trial", they didn't care at all, didn't try to offer a solution. I'm going after them with my credit card company. I have McAfee anti-virus, and it included a VPN, so i just started using it today... When I have the VPN on, I can't comment on KZread videos... is that just the reality of having a VPN enabled, or is there a workaround? I'm thinking of getting NordVPN, because I've heard it's better... Would I still have this issue with Nord? Thanks

It seems public access to the Internet network has the side effects of what colleges use to do, making copies of transmissions before they are relayed that some how could be detected if attempted passed the point of just relaying or if future complaints to how it happened to often a solution to the crime. This is the theory of flash cards crime stories seeing it being possible or simply just for precautions. What would a magnetic scanner wrist watch look like in action for even future worries. Timings could help if interfered with.

Try to get a refund? Had this thing for years forgot about it notice a $79 payment for a 1year subscription. The Money was taken the 16th of June 2022, I made contact the 18th of June 2022 trying to cancel and get a refund since it was not being used since before covid and they refused..

In addition to that, given our no-logs policy, we do not have any means to check whether you were using the service or not. Avoid the common mistake that a VPN hides everything. For example, if you're on Facebook with a VPN on whatever you do on Facebook is on their servers, so don't post things you'd regret. Another example is that you're just visiting some page to read some naughty news - this will be rerouted through VPN servers and disapeear due to no-logs policies. Cheers.

Hi, I installed a free VPN to test on my iPhone. once activated, I tried Apple Maps and it still shows my accurate location. One of my requirement of having a vpn is to stop being traced, is that not practical? Or am I expecting something impossible?

I even went to Google News through Safari Browser and still I see news related to India. I haven't logged in to google on Safari. My VPN is from Proton and I am connected to Belgium Server.
