​@@juanwhatelseSo that if there's a snow storm, or the sun is shining at you, it'll act as a visor kinda like on a baseball cap. No idea how it doesn't fall down on your eyes though, my current theory is that you put some water on it and it'll freeze into positon.

In slovakia when it is pinned upwards like on the start of the video its called "baranica" which means something lamb related as lamb means "baran"

Akschually 🤓 That’s a trapper hat, distinguished by the small flaps on the ears & more round form compared to the more square form of an ushanka. They are very similar, & I call trapper hats ushankas anyways cuz who cares really but trapper hats were common in English ranks while ushankas were common in Russian.

The Russian ones are nice. Made of rabbit fur and have a better shape. I've been using one for years. Best hat if you live in a place that snows.
