I actually tried dropping ap stats today at school. They said it was too late in the semester to drop and pick up a new class. I don't understand anything my teacher says. After watching this video, I might have a chance of passing. You taught me more in 12 minutes then my teacher did in a week

Wow, this is the first time I haven't fallen asleep watching a stat. video!

one is for sample proportions, the other for sample means. Proportions are like "percent of people that like bacon", while means would be like "avg nostril diameter" One is categorical, while the other quantitative. one, you collecting data that looks like this "yes, no, no, yes, no, no, no, yes, no, no" in the response to the question "do you like baccon?"... the other you are collecting data that looks like this: "22mm, 23.2mm, 44mm, 32 mm, 28mm, 41mm, 22mm, 31mm".

Universities don't hire good teachers and professors. They hire researchers that bring them grant money, prestige, and titles. Your university doesn't give a damn about your learning. That's the honest truth, and that's coming from a guy who teaches at university.

Thanks SO MUCH for these videos, Mr. Nystrom! This topic (sampling distribution vs. sample population...etc) was really confusing me during AP Stats last year.
