The only place I will shim the t plate is at the motor pod. I do this if I need to lower the rear end a bit more. I cut and file the top part of a worn out t plate and shim it under the new t plate where it mounts at the motor pod. It’s how I run all my 98mm/102mm cars. I don’t know where people get the idea to shim it at the chassis. That just makes it ride higher and more prone to traction roll.

its just like flipping the kingpin ... when all you have to do is polish the shaft and reinstall it. when you flip it what actually ends up happening is that it allows the frame to bottom out and get completely screwed over time. ps thanks for info on the dampener ... ordering one now !!!
