I have granite but after 10 years it cracked on both sides of the sink. Do I need to worry about quarts doing this?

Hi Curt, I am not sure why its would crack maybe your cabinets/house have settled and the counters are no longer leveled. It would possibly happen the same with quartz. Although quartz is harder than granite, granite is reparable where quartz is very difficult to repair. You can call your local granite fabricator and they can come and repair your granite countertops. they can even polish them and make them look like new. You can't do that with quart. Make sure you are sealing your granite every 6 months. Hope this helps! :)

pre-fabricated countertops. They are usually fabricated in China but natural stone comes from all over the world.
