Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video, I gather some Woodland Photography inspiration at Wentwood, Wales. With soggy socks, a Nikon D750 and a 24-120mm lens, I work around the unpredictable British Summer weather while practising my photography.
Thank you for watching this video! If you crave more, here are a few photography playlists to enjoy:

I find your videos refreshing in the KZread photography world. You make it fun and show how simple and rewarding photography is. The ICM was an excellent capture. The dances are an added bonus.
You should have a million subscribers. Your videos are a breath of fresh air among the countless photography channels on KZread. Thank you for sharing your fun and creative videos.

I swear, the camera world has more pretentious and smug content creators than even fitness channels, and that's saying a lot.
I love your enthusiasm for photography and when you start your dancing it fills me with joy. Thank you and God bless you for sharing your adventures
Amazing video Courtney! Really enjoyed it and the photos you captured as well.

Thank you Mark. I appreciate it!
hahaha, love the fog ritual dance 💃 . Lovely shots and vlog Courtney.
3:27 Dancing Forest Enchantress 😍🙌🏻
I love your presentation style! A breath of fresh air in the genre of photography vlogs! No photography trip should ever be undertaken ever without a carrot in your bag! Keep them coming Courtney!

The carrot is key! 😄
I always love watching your videos Courtney. You hit on subjects that are not usually talked about in photography videos. The scouting and test shots are an essential part of photography and often very time consuming. We can not always appear at a location and magically get National Geographic images every time, it takes lots of research, scouting and picking the right opportunity. But like you said, it's all about practicing the craft.
Loving your vlogs Courtney, brilliant fun and super images. The fog dancing is excellent! 🌿🌳😊✨
I love the fog ritual dance! 🤘
Great video, Courtney. I love the lighthearted and fun aspect of your videos, always puts a smile on my face. It's also so refreshing to see a You Tube photographer not using the usual click bait titles to gain attention, yourself and Stuart McGlennon are the only 2.
That fog ritual dance is epic and I may well have to reuse it when in need. 🤣

Just make sure to have your compositions ready first ha!
One day, your dancing will summon a long forgotten forest god.. 😂
Liked the straight shot as well as the streaky shot. Gotta love a girl who can make her own fun in the woods. :)
Yep, very good videos, not trying to sell stuff, humor added, along with great tips.
Fog Ritual Dance … more please!
Good tip regarding the fog dance 👍🏻
The first floor sample 1 is amazing really magical As well as with your video has the layed back felling of just going out enjoying yourself and having fun
Love your videos, love your style, love your presentation. Keep up the good work and please never stop dancing! 😀.
Deferent, interesting, well done Courtney Victoria.
In the most respectful way - you're off yah rocker lol I've never seen a ritual fog dance. Great images and video!
Let's recharge! ;) I was super excited when across my feed came a story of you in the edit mode!
Excellent insights into how you shoot and great dance routinres. Should organise a dance photography day. Would be a gas. Brilliant styles of blog and reat sense of humour. More!!
You know summat Courtney, Your videos are such a different take on things, simple video, lovely audio, brilliantly narrated with a sprinkle of quirky fun, whereas a lot of youtubers have lost all that... MASSIVE fan of your stuff, keep doing what you're doing. You give me inspiration, even though my photography genre is totally different. Blessings to you.
You're not dancing. You're channelling the spirit of the woodland. 😃

Yes! Exactly haha!
Gotta love the fog dance! Nice shots! ;)
Another great video Courtney! Yours strike a terrific balance of inspiring and relatable. Quick range of emotions struggling to secure the camera to the tripod head beginning at 8:54 was hilarious!
There is a great deal of careful camera work and wry humour in these videos which makes them very enjoyable
I am happy to see you using the Nikon D750 with the 24-120mm lens. I also noticed that you are in Wales. My ancestors come from Wales. Would love to visit sometime.
Amazing woodlands at your region 😍 very very nice 👍
Your hilarious, you had me at conjuring up fog with your dances! Keep them coming! New subscriber!
Landscape shots are very nice. I am also using Nikon D750 with Nikon 24-70 F2.8 for landscapes. I find it very good for landscapes.
Another entertaining forest jaunt with some aggressive carrot eating thrown in for good measure.
I love ICM and your picture looks amazing!
Courtney, brilliant. Saddo that I am, I've been trawling through your videos over the last week since finding your channel. Honest, funny, down to earth, an inspiration..... and the photography's not bad either! I feel less pressure to achieve in my own pic taking, and yet much more inspired to get out and enjoy it. Thanks. I think you should think about creating and leading some photo trips!
I love the crazy bits😂. Very entertaining. And a very well put together video. Well done
Fantastic Video
I really enjoyed this Courtney. And yes - composition then fog dance... Doh!

ICM? Loved it. Never even thought of it before. You have given me something new. 8)
Lovely video Courtney. Great sense of humour. 😀😀😂
Thanks for more fun. Just want to say I enjoy your approach of telling us what you're doing and why you're doing it, as opposed to the plethora of videos telling us viewers what _we_ must do, risking the wrath of the photography gods if we don't. The dancing is fun, too. 🙂
I love how much of a goof ball you are Haha Love your photos too!
Love these shots, all of them easily could be a painting! Simply amazing!
Your frog dancing reminds me of my younger years in the 60s when I was more connected to the earth, good on you.
your vlogs are very beautiful and interesting, I like the places you go to explore, your photos are also very beautiful .... and then I love the ICM technique, and your photo is a great example. besides you are very pretty and very nice ..... your ballets are fun !!!
Ah, I see you are a lady of culture with the titanium cpl from Nisi. It’s a fab filter. Another great video.
I love the subtle humour, the story, the presentation. I totally agree with my friends, Hudson Swan’s, post below. A breath of fresh air in the world of landscape photography youtube videos. I did a workshop on ICM photography at my local camera club a few years back, regretted it ever since. When done we’ll it’s great, when done badly it’s hard to give positive critique 🤣, and I’ve now seen it done badly a lot 😱, not in your case though. However I can promise the ‘Ritual Fog Dance’ will be strictly followed at the beginning of future club meetings 👍🤪🤣. Keep up the fantastic work 👍👍.
Hi, you are funny, witty, pretty, and smart! Hahaha never a dull moment in your videos! I laughed and laughed looking at the fog dance!!! What ever you don't change your style! Make sure you don't burn yourself out!!! Three thumbs up!!!👍👍👍
great Video. I like the style of your videos, the way how to explain yourself and the way how you dance. Thanks for that! Greetings from Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany) Christian
I like your intro and outro with the map and "where to next", a good stylistic choice to set yourself apart from others. It is difficult sometimes getting a composition right. This morning there is heavy fog in my town, you really can get the trees with the fall colours fading away into the fog at distance. In the winter we have ice fog when the temps get below -40°C, which happens more often than you'd think the last two winters.
Hello to you too! ☺️
Love it!!!
Glad I found this channel. I need to develop a “Figure out what the heck I’m doing” dance.
Any other KZreadr would be critiquing the gear, how the 24-120 gets soft in the corners at some apertures or whatever. It's really great to see you focus on the creative aspect entirely, reminds me to stop chasing gear and chase the artistic side of it all!
I love the ICM and the happy dances!!!
Wow you are doing great in your home country. I wish I could go hone right now and to start everything for my dream landscape.
Greetings from Ukraine! A very beautiful, neat, fascinating forest. Your photo compositions are very inspiring. The forest is relaxation, you can always relax.
I love your woodland shots, just beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us!
Great to see another Courtney video out, an excellent watch. Thanks
Another great video keep up the great work
Really nice video. I found it interresting, well commented, and with a nice story telling For a scouting session, it seems quite good, and the "test shot" is promissing

Definitely promising! A scene to keep in mind to return to. Thanks!
Really nice captures, Courtney. Enjoyed the video and the dance...too funny! Look forward to your next scouting adventure! Be well
Watching this woodland video was very relaxing. And you got some nice images too, the last one and the ICM of the trunks turned out lovely too.
loved it
Nutter 😂 but I luv ya. Kate Bush of the photography world 👍🏼
As a Newport boy, Wentwood is my local stomping ground...even if we could find a local virgin to offer up as a sacrifice the fog would still be reluctant to make an appearance! Like the ICM version, apart from the ghostly figure in the middle! 🙂
Thank you again for another video. I cannot wait to travel to these forests myself. I currently enjoy the southern German forested regions. I also love the woodland scenes. The good news is that I just received a 36-month work tour in the UK. I will make these adventures the highlights of my time in the UK. Thank you for sharing. Perhaps I will see you on the trail.
Beautiful, thanks for showing cool photography things !
Another great video Courtney. I agree with all of the previous comments about your videos being refreshing etc., but I also find your videos inspirational. You have a great way of getting a message across that photography is fun and to back this ability up with the strong professional images you consistently produce is a credit to your broad talent (p.s. my favourite image was the wet forest). Well done and thank you again.
Hi Courtney, in my opinion this is superbly produced with your unique stylisation (if that is a word ?😊) which makes your content outstanding, you are bringing inspiration to all, I love it ! Keep it coming ! 👍
I've been wondering where you were and then, all of a sudden, here you are! Great video - you are so much fun.
I've never tried ICM while the camera is mounted on the ball head, very cool tip !!
Can't belive I've only just found your channel! After the first video I subscribed and since then I've been binge watching them... Very informative with great tips etc and obviously the added comedy is just the icing on the cake! Not laughed that hard in a while 😂 Keep up the good work 😁
I love your humour and vibe during your videos.
Thanks for the great videos, i like your "test shots" :-)
Pretty cool) good pictures!
Again Laura a great video with the added bonus of your dancing...I love to watch.... your photos of this forest are interesting as you have captured the mood and tranquillity of the area...the colours are striking & maybe the rain helped make everything very 'clean'.......you always have a beautiful way of presenting so keep up the good work... cheers from Australia 😀❤️
😁 love the fog dance. Nice video
I find your approach to youtube videos very refreshing and entertaining! Happy that I stumbled upon your channel and I look forward to your new videos! Cheers!
Hello Courtney, I think your videos are great. This mixture of calm and nature, your technical explanations and the humorous interludes, very great class. Too bad you don't post videos more often, I'm looking forward to the next one. Greetings from Germany
Thanks for the video
You should be lucky to be rich enough to be able to do nothing else but what you like: taking pics. Good for you that you don't have to work at this young age and simply enjoy life maybe in the most beautiful way😀
Love your videos. Really nice to see a fellow Nikon user amongst the hundreds of photographers who use the likes of Sony and Canon
Thinking of picking up an old Nikon d700 for landscape use!
That is a good point about tripods how they help you to slow down, relax and mentally focus more, although usually I prefer shooting hand held because in subject rich areas I get anxious to get the shots while I can and it's easier but I do want to use a tripod sometimes. I enjoy your quirky sense of humour and dancing mixed in it refreshes the usual photo videos, look forward to more videos
Your videos always make me smile 😊
Lovely work. I was quite inspired by the fog dance. I am sure your scouting will pay-off later on when the fog is rolling down the forest, those compositions will pop. Keep the vlogs coming, they are different and a treat to watch.
Thank you so much for your videos. I really love them and your dances. Please keep it going. I use to have a D750 but it was stolen with all my gear at a Boy Scout Jamboree. I was able to purchase a D850 and most of my gear. I really like the D850 but really do miss my D750. Thank you and wait for your next video.
I'm very familiar with the composition dance but the fog dance not so much! LOL I very much enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing! I look forward to getting out there and doing more scouting when our weather in Northern California is cooler.
Really enjoyed that, not only was it entertaining and interesting I learned that I've been doing my Ritual Fog dance wrong all these years! Honestly, as others have said, a breath of fresh air Courtney! :)
Very nice. The b roll videos especially close shots are very good. Very nice storytelling in a fun way
Brilliant video as always especially like the random dancing👍 2nd to last image absolutely brilliant
Awesome video Thanks ❤️🙌🏻
Recently discovered you... Just retired in the US and absorbing everything I can to pursue my landscape Photography passion now that I have time. Love your videos... I can connect to them ( through my kids and grands) ... have learned a lot from you... now putting my learnings into action will be my challenge.. but that's Okay... Give me a goal to see if my photos come close to yours. Bottom line is I am taking your vids seriously, because I've seen an improvement myself, . Keep it up and keep sharing!!!!
The photo at 3:09 is not bad I call this a micro landscape . The area of openness brown- green in the center helps bring together the composition and eye attention. Fun stuff.. I live in an area with lots of this and love it or hate I got too make the best of it.

By the way what’s is the orange metallic ring on side of ur camera ?

@@kurtauerbach5883 A L-Bracket from the 3 Legged Thing. A camera plate that is useful when changing orientation from horizontal to vertical on a tripod.
I really liked your compositions, which would probably be transformed if you had some foggy atmosphere. Those uniform, regimented conifer planting lends itself to the type of compositions you had. That’s for sharing.
Nice video! Is the exact representation of the 90% of the scouting situations in the woods.
Great video
Can you imagine a passer by trying to work out the Fog dance ;) great as always Victoria.
