Not a good idea to use a countries GDP. The only measure that works is GDP / person.

Population can't be 6.2 billion as India and China alone account for 2.8 billion making the rest of the world population 5.2 billion without even considering the other 8 nations. So the GDP per capita would be higher than 5000 USD

@@linaribaldi3829 yes a lot poorer indeed, but also a lot of less tensions around the world. and by removing the US and China and india UK France there would be a lot less nukes and arms deals creating less tension. population wise we would be back in the 90s around 6 billion people, GDP wise i guess around 70s or 80s not sure about that tho. the only wild cards left would be Russia, North Korea, Iran and possibly Pakistan that could create tensions in the world.

@@TM0TP that's your personal opinion which I do not share. If you remove the richest you'll only have fewer hospitals, fewer schools, fewer means of communication, fewew facilities for anybody... Humanity wouldn't be engaged in scientific discoveries buy only in petty controverties... likes in the Middle Ages.... and ignorance (which come with scarce education ) would rule the world...

A very important outcome you missed would be that US, Western Europe, India and China are the markets where most of this countries trade. With the 4 largest markets gone, the GDP figures of rest of the world will drastically reduce.

if I was assessing the worlds richest countries I would do it more on networth of the individuals and government per capita and I might add something about distribution of that wealth because if one guy has all the money than most people are poor so the country is mostly poor. So (individual networths + government networth)/(Population*standard Deviation)

You fail to mention how smaller countries are completely dependent on these big and rich countries for investment or trade or jobs or tourism. They are propped up and would fall dramatically without the rich countries. Places like Mexico would suffer the most as there economy is almost completely dependent on the US.

Hah. Yeah, that tends to happen when someone whose best weapons consist of burning rocks and loud screaming pissess off someone who's in the top 10 of weapons systems innovators world-wide.

The orginal meaning of 1st world was US Sphere, 2nd world USSR and 3rd world everybody else, so it makes sense that Russia is the big dog when you take the top 10 away.

Nor sure where the numbers in this come from. Google top ten countries by GDP and there's almost a completely different set of countries!

Yeah, the thing the first props up in Google is not in order literally if you click on Australia, I will say Australia has the 13th largest GDP on earth don’t trust the first source google gives you Google just giving you a list of countries, despite what you actually search

I am certain you made an error calculating the new population of the world... it can't just decrease by only 1.8 billion. In turn, you made errors for GDP/Capita as well.

In what world does GDP define being rich? The universally accepted statistic for being rich is GDP per capita... China, Brazil and India are all very far from being rich

The 2 comments above me only look at the skyscrapers but never look at the people who own them.. they don't have freedom but their poverty is even worse than usa poverty... in China most people are still struggling to get basic food, just imagine if u put the top cities of the world all the most expensive cities in the world into a developing country.. usa is suffering in homelessness with nyc and los Angelo's, but imagine china with just as or more expensive cities and people earning about 15% or 1/7 or something of usa.. the news of usa gets to us because they're allowed to interact with the outer world, china doesn't have that freedom, but just imagine 8 Chinese earn as much as 1 usa, and they both have to pay for expensive cities and China has the more expensive or just as expensive cities and we all know the homelessness problem in usa, but we can't know about China.

French guyana was not removed on the map. Same for new caledonia or british falklands. This would be consistent if Alaska still appeared on the map, which is not the case.

Alot of Australia's exports of natural resources go to China. Without China Australia's economy will crash hard. Also alot of things are made in China so all manufacturing will need to be restarted in Australia locally. Australia and Russia would need to friend up quickly which is possible with Russia new large expansion into economy rather then defence. They would require Australias resources. Fluctuating back and stabilising both economies. Less population in the world means more food to go round with Australia biggest livestock exporter and fast water lanes due to less landmass.

Before click the video I say there n tried to name all 10 missing countries n except one that I’m not 100% sure about I got them all :3 Canada (represent!🥳), USA, Brazil, UK, France, Italia, India, China, Japan, n the one I’m not positive about is Germany. Now to watch n find out if I was right.

That’s not what GDP is per capita is just a average among the humans that live in the country. It’s not a special more accurate mathematical super solution. I said yes if you use per capita, of course he would have a video. Just would be a different video with different countries besides for the United States. I’m not comparing apples to oranges your comparing one countries economy to another countries economy. It’s like singing that Apple shouldn’t be considered one of the richest companies on earth because if you average it out through all the deploy, you get a totally different number and if you compare its overall revenue to another company, you’re comparing apples to oranges because you’re not comparing the average salary of the people who work there. Per capita has it uses GDP hat as its uses. GDP purchasing power has its uses Stop thinking one is better than the other.

A number of the worlds leading universities are in the USA, so in theory the world would become less educated, innovative and entrepreneurial.
