What if Anakin actually did fulfill his dream where he went back and freed all the slaves. Anakin's mother was a slave, so to fulfill the dream accurately, he would have to save her too, but not as part of his dreams, as part of his mission. Plus, many would see a pseudo Jedi freeing slaves and think " that's what Jedi should be". And could influence the redemption of the Jedi.

@@Silver2308while I believe that Anakin would have found excuses to stay on a ship or off-planet as much as possible, he could endure a return to Tatooine, as he did in Attack of the Clones.

At that point....there is no way sideous gets away with just shooting senators in the senate chamber lol. His hold was still tenuous, and the sudden killings would kill a huge amount of support. In fact, this is an opportunity for a more palpatine way of dealing with them. He'll Have them meet him and a few other pro-empire senators for a closed room negotitation. Then it's attacked by "a jedi" who is actually a hooded inquisitor, using a blue captured saber. He only "barely escapes due to the bravery of the clones" who drive off the "jedi" before he finishes the job. Pin the whole thing on kenobi, and all the senators are "martyrs"

Senators would know the difference between the presence of a real Jedi and a fake. It has to be part of becoming a Senator or the Senate just does not take long to mind trick into an Empire and Bane would have done it 1000 years ago as one of the things the Brotherhood of Darkness didn't do because they were stupid.

What if obi wan saved anakin from the Jedi council

In the Legends storyline, Anakin was always the backup plan for Palpy if he dies. Sidious had collected enough of Anakin's DNA samples to create a clone of him on Byss. The problem was that there's dissonance in the Force if the original body was still alive. So Palpy can only create an immature clone a whenever his mind transfers to a new cloned body, his mind starts corrupting his own cloned body and burning it out. So if he used Anakin's clone after Vader died, there's less resistance&corruption of the cloned body.

I normally hate the idea of essence transfer although the way you implemented it into this story with Anakin being tricked by Palpatine into accepting the transfer while also being weakened by his injuries on Mustafar, this not only makes for a more compelling reason and narrative but the symbiotic union between both darth sidious and Darth Vader sharing one body is interesting

What if Thrawn was a Jedi? What if General Grevious was the Chosen One? What if the Son fell in love with Ahsoka Tano? What if Anakin Skywalker returned to Tatooine and joined the White Suns?

Several ideas : What if Anakin Skywalker trained Baylan Skoll instead of Ahsoka ? What if the Jedi High Counsil trained Anakin Skywalker ? What if Ahsoka was in Return of the Jedi ? What if Darth Vader found out Leia is his daughter during A New Hope ?

Here's a few good ones: 1) What if Luke and Leia did not survive childbirth? 2) What if Yuuzhan Vong showed up just before the Clone Wars began? (Meaning both the Republic and the Separatists would be at full strength) 3) What of the Yuuzhan Vong showed up just before the destruction of Alderaan? (Meaning the Empire would be at full strength, though the Rebellion would be weak)

What if exar kun returned during the later part of revenge of the sith, lets say a padawan escaping the purge ends up on yavin 4 and kun seeing this padawan as opportunity to return to a physical body, manages to take the boy over and begins his plot to power? What if during the Ahsoka series, on peridea, sabine encounters a tribe of the long thought extinct rakata species and after some building of trust agrees to help her, ahsoka and ezra fight thrawns forces?

This was a tear jerker! Thank you!

Yeah, he literally tried to escape from fighting Yoda before he even fought him.

Phew, I was worried when I clicked on this thinking that Yoda and Obi-Wan would somehow be able to restore things by explaining what happened. This was actually quite a bit better since it makes sense that it would be a senator instead. I also like working Bode into the story spying on them and once again getting the trust of others. It really helps show just how good he is at being a spy, though not as well as getting into the partisans.

Is there one for if count dooku told anakin about sidious before anakin finished him?

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how insanely awesome palpatine/Anakin's suit is? Just imagine Palpatine using so much Sith power in that suit. Would look amazing!

The fight in cannon technically ended in a draw although because Yoda wasn’t able to continue to fight and kill Palpatine before clone reinforcements arrived Palpatine used this to cowardly but strategically gain the upper hand. So for Yoda to kill Palpatine he would have to of gotten the high ground on him somehow by either leaving then flanking him while he least expects it or smacking his senate pod to the ground and killing him before he could utilise any clone support. Both outcomes are possible provided both also carry the risk of him Palpatine getting lucky and killing him given they are both still equal in terms of power in the force and skill with a lightsaber, so Yoda simply took the strategic move of fleeing so that he could learn to become a force ghost and continue to guide the generations to come instead of risking dying before gaining such knowledge

Anakin fulfilled his destiny! But you missed two tiny canon details. Vader and Obi-Wan were still fighting when Yoda would have killed Sidious, so Vader would not have let him in! Two, you said Obi-Wan got back to the pad first, so R2 would have gone with him like in canon! Plan fails, the Sith are destroyed due to Vader letting Sidious into a body that was not strong enough to save itself. They would die together! If they survived: Yoda would stay hidden, but not on Dagobah. Luke should still be sent to Tatooine for protection. If Luke was not sent to Tatooine, he would not be sent to face Sidious/Vader, as Anakin only excepted one child, and Bail would give Luke to Bone if Yoda, Obi-Wan and Leia failed, but when Anakin realised he had another child to try and save, this time he would be strong enough to stop Sidious. Anakin would tell Bone to let Luke go free and would order Bone's daughter and be freed and before Anakin removed his mask he would order the Star Destroyer npt to attack, that he was dying and name Bail Organa and Mon Motha as the two choices as his successor and that that was an order! He would then tell Luke what had happened to Leia and then ask Bone and Luke to remove his mask as he wanted to see Luke with his eyes, and they would and Bone would ask why and he would say he was Anakin Skywalker returned, and his death would kill the emperor and the Sith for good. Anakin would then ask Bone to take Luke to Naboo and say he was Anakin and Padme's son. Then he would tell Luke he loved him and then the Force Ghosts of Qui-gon, Yoda and Obi-Wan would appear and congratulate Anakin. Anakin would then die. Bone would take Luke to Naboo and then go and get his daughter. Bail or Mon Motha would then rule the galaxy and restore the Republic. A few years later the Jedi Order would be restored and they would be mentored by Yoda and Qui-gon's Force Ghosts for several years, but this time they would be Peace Keepers and stay away from politics!

So, technically Anakin became the emporer in this timeline lol
