What if we could leave our body and have a new one? | Henrik Ehrsson | TEDxGöteborg

The question “How do I know this is my body?” has tickled Henrik Ehrsson’s mind since he was a kid. As a neuroscientist he’s studying the human brain and the correlation between body and mind. New scientific achievements indicate that we could have real out-of-body experiences, which can be of good use in various fields, from bionic limbs to artificial intelligence.
Henrik Ehrsson is a cognitive neuroscientist at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.

This proves that there´s specific hardware in our brains to OBE experiences, dont disproves the OBE itselfs because the OBE its not only the feeling of being out of your body, its all the information, meeting other beings in the astral plane, see places you never visited before, etc

This is NOT a out of body experience. Its only training the brain to generate a signal when you see a stimulus. In OBE you dont repeat the actions to your brain to learn , you spontaneously get sensation of your surrounding environment.

I would love to try this. Some of my first memories are of floating out of my crib and out through the window screen into the yard and running alongside the house like a cat, and I think this might well have been out of body experiences. in response to the boredom of being put down for a nap when I wasn't sleepy perhaps?

I think there is a need for more self-help meetings that are geared around teaching people to properly use their own body (Seriously.) This would help so many people.❤❤❤

This is what Fibromyalgia is. The brain perceiving pain in the body but there is nothing that would indicate anything is wrong. It's quite fascinating. It's also why1/3rd of people "heal" from it. I suspect it's true of ALL perceived pain. Hence the term, Pain Threshold.

the brain isnt just the jelly inside the skull, the brain is the whole body, heart, guts, limbs, the whole feedback system, and then add the environment the body and brains (plural) area in, that is a brain too. and the add the web and cloud and that is another layer of brain, and then add everyone else's brains. brains.

Our first 30 years, is repetition of earlier 'lives', (four last, 19-30, > 2/2½/3/3½) We have 'color' of our parents, but after 30, We 'go back' to our own look. (take color of our Basic-developing-track) If You have the Will to become body-builder, it'll surely change your look. It is our daily Will, and Life-style as gradually change our look, over time. From a Stuff-side Perspective, our physical reality is a Motion-Ocean, incl. our physical body, motion is Change, it rests in it's Eternal Nature.

Consciousness is infinite. The brain does not create consciousness. Consciousness lives in the mind which lives in the brain. The brain transmits energy into the body (telling the body how to behave/react).
