There is no way Vegeta wouldn't have SS2. We all know that after the cell games Vegeta would not rest until he too broke through the wall. Seeing what it took for GohanvCell, he would figure it out.

Still would be weaker then goku though as the majin boost was stated to be significant and also provide other benefits like increased pain tolerance and stamina. Without it he would not be a match for goku's ssj2. Even with he was only able to match him. If vegeta is able to go ssj2 without the form he would be on the lower-mid end of the spectrum more then likely. Goku was on upper level...mastered it...and moved on to unlock a form beyond it via ssj3 :3

And because of that he bluffed that he was strong enough to take on Gero on his own (which spooked the android before Vegeta took a senzu).

Vegeta took a while to start training again this was said by vegeta himself. Right after cells death Everyone went back up to the lookout and vegeta said he would no longer be a warrior.

Vegeta discovered SS2 before Majin. He was just weaker than Goku. People just love downplaying Vegeta. But I also think Vegeta & Goku were both stronger than Gohan against Cell because he keeps making Gohan vs the Cell the measuring stick even at the beginning of the Buu saga & is talking down to it. Why people choose to debate it is wild

it makes no sense that vegeta couldnt use ssj2 before the majin curse because he was going toe to toe with a ssj2 goku who we know got it DURING the 7 year timeskip meaning that vegeta most likely got it before the majin curse

Goku does that regularly. The best example is when he was facing Cooler and he knew Cooler was stronger, he still resorted to using Kaioken first before attempting SSJ. Goku vs Vegeta round 2. Goku held back SSJ3 knowing that if he'd just KO'ed Vegeta he could have possibly avoided the entire conflict. Goku vs Goku Black the first time, there was no reason why Goku shouldn't have instantly went SSJB and killed him. That's just how Saiyans are. Is it smart? No. But if they all thought like this, conflicts would end before they began. No Perfect Cell, and no Buu.

Wait... Who thinks Dabura would be relative in strength to Vegeta? Goku and Vegeta compare his ki to that of Cell, and even if they mean Super Perfect Cell, Cell Games SSJ2 Gohan was still well stronger than that after getting one arm fucked up, and Buu Saga Goku and Vegeta have both surpassed that Gohan (albeit only narrowly).

@@armaanmehanger4154 Bruh he's not this was the same kid buu who was equal to ssj3 Goku and Goku only lost because he's living body wasn't used to the strain of ssj3 and yet ssj3 Gotenks was alot stronger than ssj3 Goku and super Buu could hold his own against him and at one point Goku thought he couldn't defeat super buu on his one point and when he saw kid buu he didn't even look surprised but confused why he's shorter and confident he could defeat him with his full power ssj3 Also the fact that kid buu is mentioned to be the most dangerous doesn't mean he's the strongest literally buuhan /buutenks/ super buu are more dangerous and stronger than him

Actually, Vegeta killing Dabura makes more of a significant change than you think. Without Majin Buu in the story, Kid Buu will never die and become Uub, and Moro would end up likely killing Goku and Vegeta on New Namek, due to the lack of any intervention from the Grand Supreme Kai. Now, there is a possibility that Merus decides to tell Shin and Kibito about the Grand Supreme Kai in Buu, but that also depends on if the egg containing Buu was destroyed or not. If it was, then that means that Moro wins and everyone dies. And even if Buu wasn't destroyed, there are factors such as time, Buu's compliance or noncompliance and Buu's strength. To me, this timeline's doomed.

He was choosing not to cover past the anime but with buy in the ball and on the supreme Kai's world that means the can revive the grand supreme guy from buy at full power from the start and he can handle Moro before he is even a problem They wouldn't destroy the egg out of fear of reviving buy like in the anime

Alternatively, Whis could probably defuse the Grand Supreme Kai and the South Supreme Kai from Buu, giving them back their power. I mean now Kid Buu is here, but he gets stomped. Now we good, everything is hunky dory

This is easy. Vegeta was SSJ2 during the 7 years time skip. He was confident in beating gohan at the tournament. Plus vegeta knew gpku was ssj2 after yakkon. 3. Maijin powerups dont upgrade ssj forms. Vegeta was confident in beating dabura as a ssj1 before it was revealed he had ssj2. Goku and Vegeta thought dabura was a nobody magic aside. In conclusion ssj1 vegeta rag dolls dabura

Yeah goku was very disappointed in gohan's performance and vegeta was extremely frustrated with it, so I'm pretty sure it's also narratively implied that either of these two would easily steamroll dabura at this point. Probably with the same diff as yakkon and pui pui.

Well by statements(databook and Scans) Dabura is only as strong as Perfect cell.Vegeta is easily stronger than that so yeah je should whoop him around

I'm glad you acknowledged Vegeta was able to go SSJ2 at that point. My theory that goes back to even the 90s was that a typical SSJ2 would be around cell level Gohan, who was in brilliant condition then, the best of his life really. I don't believe him being a teen affected an upper limit. Vegeta's SSJ2 would have been comparable in my opinion. Goku's SSJ2 is OP because he's mastered SSJ2, he knows the next form, SSJ3. This is comparable to SSJ1 frieza saga vs cell saga mastered SSJ1. Vegeta knew Goku's SSJ2 form was stronger which is why he went for the Majin booster, to bring him on par.

He would be training both Gohan & as well as Goten, plus his relationship with Vegeta would develop much more. So he won't have any reason to go Majin during the Buu Arc. Things just become more easy for the main cast & the rest of the series basically.

What if Gine Got The Future Sense Power Instead of Bardock? Maybe the siege of planet Kanessa was when she quit, so she not only gets it WAY earlier than her technical husband, but has the visions sooner enough to prepare more easily? Maybe this could be your own unique version of "What if Gine Went to Earth With Goku?"

Huh? 🤔 So there isn't much of a change to cannon, but No Majin Buu, Vegeta and Goku have a much more friendlier fight here, Goku doesn't come back to life until BOG, and Gohan gets back to training again after the Buu Saga, but doesn't get the Ultimate Form till later cool. Anyways good one-shot what if, and looking forward to your next video soon. What if suggestion: What if Gohan trained with Vegeta? (Sometimes during the 7 year time-skip.)

I still think that Vegeta's fight with Dabura would be so one-sided that Vegeta would treat him like a punching bag, abusing him the entire time and laughing at him for being the "king of demons" and being so weak. On top of that he would be yelling at Kakarot the entire time saying that Gohan has gotten weak and he wants to finish this quickly so they can have their fight to see who truly is the strongest. And THAT would be the trigger to make Babadi turn him Majin getting Buu released.

I like this way more than the actual buu arc. good stuff.

The Majin power up didn’t cause him to immediately be in a SSJ2 state. So I always thought if he’s using SSJ when initially being put under the curse, and transforms to SSJ2 later, I figured that way his own doing. Also without the Majin boost in the fight with Pure Boo to buy time for Goku’s SSJ3, Vegeta uses SSJ2 to fight Boo as best he can.

I have a few bits of evidence to prove gohan is in SSJ2 during his fight with dabura 1: dabura was stated by goku to be as strong (or even stronger than) super perfect cell, gohan would have literally no reason to hold back 2: gohan's exhaustion, if gohan WAS struggling against dabura and he was in SSJ1, why didn't he just transform higher? he did it against buu's egg and kibito, so why not against dabura? 3: there is a very small yet conclusive detail that shows up with adult gohan, he has a big piece of hair sticking out, a bang, simple enough right? well it gets deeper. in base, its just the bang and nothing else, in SSJ2 its the same story, but in SSJ1, there is a tiny stand of hair under the bang, helping to differentiate SSJ1 from SSJ2. And mind you this tiny detail is reoccurring in EVERY piece of media adult gohan is in, and in the dabura fight, there is no tiny strand of hair

1000% agree with everything you said. I just made my own comment pointing out some of the same things. It's clear that the creator of this video has a bias toward seeing a certain outcome.

This is why i like your what ifs more than anyone else's. Your what ifs makes sense, you showed evidences that vegeta had super saiyan 2 before majin. Others would just say "vegeta then turns into super saiyan 2" with no reason how

I get why he stopped fighting after cell but he once he got the ultimate boost he technically failed twice to stop majin buu, he then got fucked by beerus and then freiza and got left out of two major arcs. It took him so long to realise he needs to train.

At the end of Buu Saga, either Vegeta or Piccolo needs to present Gohan a possibility: A time where his father, Vegeta or Piccolo aren’t around or aren’t enough. A time where Gohan’s family is in danger but due to him getting soft, he can’t protect them. Arrogance and complacency are Gohan’s biggest weaknesses. If he wants a life as a scholar and eventually a husband and father, he’ll have to stay strong enough to protect those goals.

im playing dbz buu fury and am on the level in which gohan fights dabura, this vid grabbed my attention

I saw no way for Dabura to beat Vegeta even in SSJ, as I always saw Gohan as two times stronger than Super Cell, and I always saw Vegeta without Majin as equal to Cell Games Gohan

While it'd certainly make for a short season, this version of events is a lot cleaner and satisfying! This is minor, but note SS3 is supposedly more effective with the resilience of a dead Goku body, meaning a more close fight with Beerus.

I would love to see more what ifs go into the GT timeline instead of the Super timeline

I think some argument here is that Vegeta knows Goku had extreme mastery upon the form he shows against Yakon, like he had upon his ssj form fighting Cell. Vegeta had unlocked that form but not necessarily to the fullest like kinda always in DBZ. Babidi's power shows how much one can grow over his own potential.

Remember in the anime when dabura said he wanted to fight all three of them at the same time. Boy that would have been a short fight

What if Piccolo trained with Gohan and Goten before the Martial Arts World Tournament? I think the story has potential. Maybe he could even train Videl at first and teach her about ki control better and faster than Gohan, perhaps she could even learn how to produce energy beams. After that, I'm pretty sure he'd get the boys in tip top shape. Gohan would be definitely stronger than he was in the Cell Games, maybe as strong as Goku on the Buu saga (minus the SS3 transformation). He'd beat Darbura much more easily but he'd play around too much, Vegeta would go Majin, Buu would be awaken but I think Goku and Vegeta would join Gohan before he fought Buu and even Goten and Trunks would arrive, as well as Krilin and Piccolo. They'd all charge at Buu but he'd come back and Kaioh Shin would transport everyone to the realm of the Kais, Gohan would pull out the sword sooner and more easily and the whole process would be faster.

So basically the buu arc just ends a LOT more cleanly

Vegeta did have ssj2 before Majin. I remember when King Yemma explained he couldn’t restore the body of Vegeta after being Majin so instead he brought back his previous body, the one before turning Majin. And Vegeta turned Ssj 2 with that body, meaning that he already had access to ssj2. His mind and memories may be the same but just like ssj3 his body must be physically stable to handle such a power like that. Ssj2 is easier than ssj3 obviously but at this point Vegeta wouldn’t have trouble going ssj2 since he’s physically capable of handling that power.
