My grandma made me a life sized raggedy Ann doll like Annabel. Every one of my cousins and my sister hated this doll. We all saw her move on her own and I would have terrible nightmares about her. This was back in the 80’s and early 90’s so it certainly didn’t come from hearing about this doll. She’s supposedly in my parents attic but we’ve looked and haven’t found her yet.

Before I saw what the real Annabelle doll looked like it was the type of doll I would definitely get lol. I had one similar to it growing up and at the time I was heartbroken when it was thrown away but now I just might call my dad and thank him lol.

@@Waaris_771 I don’t have any idea, but my cousins, sister, and I agree- it’s not my grandma. Maybe it has something to do with where the material comes from. Annabelle came from the same place, same factory. It was something the sold at craft shops in the 60s and 70s. But so many of us saw the doll do things. My sister came into my room screaming one night because she saw it lift its arm. Lights would come on in rooms where she was with no human in there

A slight correction to your information. Annabelle hasn’t always been under the case since the Warren’s put her there, has been removed from the case a few times, and one of the reasons she was removed was she brought to Zak Bagans haunted museum for a few hours under supervision so Ghost Adventures could do an investigation on Annabelle.

When I was younger I had a Raggedy Anne pillow because my grandma liked Raggedy Anne and saw it as a kid. I never heard the tales nor seen any of the movies of Annabelle so I wonder how I always got the feeling of scaredness when I looked at the pillow. I found this video. If anyone is in the Connecticut area in October 2022, the Mohegan Sun Casino is suppose to have Annabelle here for a few days. I live 5 minutes away from the casino and have been wanting to visit the Warrens Occult Museum that's about an hour and a half on the other side of the state for a few years now so this works out perfectly. I find this stuff fascinating, but like fire you have to treat it with respect or you will get burned.

Couldn't the theif switch the doll with another doll that looked the same and they still wouldn't know even today. Also using the doll in a controlled environment as a experiment to prove the supernatural would be interesting to see.

Actually when she got to the Warrens house, she wasn’t immediately put in a glass cage. She was sat on a chair for a while until Loraine had one prepared as a present for Ed. He wasn’t in the house at the moment and called Loraine to ask her what she was doing with the doll. He was told by spirits that Annabelle did not like it.

I remember as a kid with my big sister Gina she was in her 20s I was around 10 and when we watched Annabelle when the girl said can you help me and the other girl said yes what do you need she said in a deep voice YOUR SOUL I get chills till this day😳

I love how the mother is so chilled while in the back Annabelle is taking her daughter 9:10

The people at the museum said that the boyfriend actually slept next to the doll and had a dream that she crawled up his leg and strangled him, then he woke picked it up and said it’s just a doll. Then he threw it on the floor, then he noticed he got scratched

Well isn’t she a conduit? The doll dosen’t do anything, but if she is near other spirits, they can act through her, like a portal door. And cause havic in our realm.

When I was younger I watched the first Annabelle movie and I was worried that the doll would escape the glass case I guess my nightmare came true

This show's version of the doll is so cute!
