If this is really your original content, your bar is really high. I would recommend removing the subtitles altogether as they overlap the graphics you surely spent a lot of time making. I’m still skeptical though. See you in 2 weeks

I know Europeans sometimes make fun of the way our sports work over here but the drafts for each league are a ton of fun as a fan. You can legitimately become consumed with researching draft prospects and who you want your team to take. Being a fan wouldn't be the same without the draft imho

Exactly @MATT-qu7pl ! Between one season ending and another beginning, the most fun we Europeans can have is reading transfer rumours of which players might be coming in or leaving, but the amount of fake news and false information that circulates around each potential story has made this altogether less fun for fans. We think a draft is the missing piece in all of this to re-establish intrigue, drama and fun! It would also shine a light on the personalities of our next generation of superstars, which can often be dimmed by too much media training from too early an age. the truth is that the draft doesnt work in european sports. To begin, the EPL might be have more money than any other european leagues but it wastes too much on mid table mediocrity and football talent isnt concentrated in a league or even in 5 leagues. there are better teams in the Eredivisie, the Portuguese League and even in the Greek League. EPL is extremely interesting for financial reasons for most players (not because of the prestige of the competition - otherwise anyone would never choose a Saudi team of an EPL team (see Ruben Neves, Mahrez, and so on..) but outside the top6 teams, the atrativeness of the mid table teams is always going to lose to a Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona (even with the financial restraints), Inter,... those teams not only play in the actual biggest football competition (the champions league), these teams fight for titles and no one, not even Harry Kane, wants to have a trophyless career... and honestly a young player will probably gain more from playing in a title fighting team with European Competitions, as PSV/Ajax/Porto/Benfica/Sporting Lisbon/Genk/Olympiakos/..., where the demand is much higher (cont even compare a Lisbon/Athens Derby to a Brighton vs Everton game) but in a smaller stage where they can accomplish something over a mid table mediocrity, where you might win a few games and be happy to draw a few...

The quality is amazing had to drop a sub but I disagree with ur point a draft system can’t work in the premier league. It would destroy the academy, transfer and relegation systems. U can’t have any of the 3 with a draft

NFL draft system would be better not the NBA's especially with that horrible lottery pick system where one of the top 5 teams in the premier League still has a chance to earn the number 1 overall pick. People are gonna hate it 😂

Your arguments for introducing a draft system basically is: money money money. Being a football supporter (what you might call soccer fan) is not about associating youself with a club just because they are the richest, the strongest, has the most engaging TikTok account (wtf)... You support your club no matter what, even if they don't win, lose, are not flashy or even relegate into oblivion. This AI-generated video (nice subtitles!) is very US-centric and simply not well thought out. I mean, football academies are tied to local clubs and not high schools to begin with. It'll never work.

For context our channel analysis business opportunities for different sports leagues, so we will often talk about the financial impact these changes could have, otherwise they’d never be considered. That said we also discuss a variety of other benefits of a PL draft that aren’t related to money: helping bottom table sides compete, helping younger players breakthrough, helping fans connect with their club, helping the league retain its excitement and unpredictability.
