You are right! I would like to ask that we all stop calling our children, "kids", and call them children! Calling them kids is part of the white supremacy teaching that dehumanizes Black people. Any reference to Black people that minimizes our human status needs to be stopped. Remember in the Constitution, white supremacists said Black people are three-fifths of a human.

My son traveled with a band for years here and overseas and I gave him the same advice, as should all parents.

The way they treat people especially children then wonder why the community considers them the biggest threat to every community member. Black and brown communities are 3x more likely to be arrested, beaten, or killed by leos. But expect respect they are unwilling to offer the same to anyone outside the blue line gang. GO BIG NICK❤.
