What if Speedwagon was Jonathan's childhood friend? He would have trained Hamon too and murder dio with a Hamon infused blade hat. Done, that's it. There will be no other jojo parts. The ship would have never be attacked so Lisa Lisa would have never had Joseph.

Dio, Gone to Heaven

I always theorized that had stands been in Part 1, Jonathan would have manifested/awakened it during his first fight with Vampire Dio. With his father's death and the sheer will power and strength shown by Jonathan in that original fight, I think his stand definitely would have awakened during this time. Because of this, it probably would have ended up being a similar stand to The World/Star Platinum. Then later, through hamon training, Jonathan's stand would have started taking a more similar form to Hermit Purple, possibly functioning like Stone Free where Jonathan can "unwind" his stand into a hamon vine. So basically, Jonathan would have had Star Platinum combined with Hermit Purple.

I Have a feeling, that in Kars VS DIO. Kars goes "I see its the same stand"

There is no fight Kars could possibly lose. His extreme adaptability in combination with is extremely strong soul means that he would develop a perfect Stand to counter whatever was thrown at him, while making one-shotting him impossible. He'd regenerate and then there'd be hell to pay.

I like the idea of The World's time-stop being much shorter at this time, since it matches the ~1 second timestop Dio told Enya he had at the beginning of his training. You'd end up with a much less overpowered Dio, and a much more enjoyable fight to game out.

Well, I believe he would start out with a higher time. One of the main reasons he had to train it so much was because he was weak after his fight with Jonathan. His time increased as he got more powerful. And when he took Joseph’s blood, it went super high since he was basically full strength. In phantom blood he was probably at the same level as super dio minus the stand, and he had almost a full grasp on vampirism and regeneration.

"Everyone dies to Dio" So part 1 as if Dio didn't stop to talk to Johnathan and the gang and just attacked them straight away, considering everyone dies because of Dio either directly or indirectly anyway. he could have done that without a stand tbh

Can you do: >What if stands existed in part 2? >How would Eyes of Heaven timeline be like, as in nobody dies? >Potential stand combos for example Green Day and Oasis. You can use any stands from parts 3-8 and put them into pair of two which can compliment each other. >Grant/Swap a stand. Basically give/swap a stand to any character. I Think Jonathan's Stand Could Move while time is stopped because of Gravity. Hamon is the Power of the Sun, the weapon against Vampires and The Sun has Gravity and let's the Planet's spin around it. So i think that Hamon (if masterd fully) could have some sort of Gravity manipulation an as we know, when you can manipulate Gravity you can move in stopped time (C-Moon) . Oh and i think Jonathan's stand would be named Tusk because Johnny is Jonathan from another Universe. And the fight would be similar with the fight Johnny vs Diego

DIO being able to use Time Stop was only because he found out the ability from Enyaba, not from something that he knew from the start.

Heres an idea: During the Jonathan vs Dio fight, Dio gets cocky and Jonathan manages to get a full taco bell shit blast of hamon into Dio. Dio freaks the fuck out and cuts his head off and steals Jonathan's body. Later, Giorno comes into existence and leads the rebellion against Dio. GER happens and Dio's empire is overthrown.

Dio did need some time to practice his time stop and get it up to 5 seconds or however much he could stop it in part 3 so I don't think he could just destroy everyone after just discovering his new power.

@@doobiewah3363 Well, it's debatable if every single one of them could learn the Ripple, and if so, to what degree. I'd like to think that Joseph would've likely taught them, but they didn't have time. Remember, Holly was dying and they were on a schedule if they wanted to save her life. And after Dio was finally dead, there was no more need, the last vampire seemingly dead.

I think the stone masks vampire thing is kinda like a stand in a way. Going back to it, think of the pillar mens ribcage, bone blade, boiling blood, and aero kinesis as a more physical bodily version of stands, a personalized power. Where stands are more mental and has to do with your spirit and psyche, vampire powers are more physical and have to deal with your body and mind.

Part 1 and 2 would probably be more forgettable with Stands. Since Hamon,Vampires and Pillar Men were some of the main defining characteristics of the first two parts,adding in Stands would just make them blend in with the others

If that happened, Dio would'nt be able to stop time for 7 seconds or more, the reason it was possible for him is because he had jonathan's body and consumes a lot of a Joestar's blood.

Dude the world in part 1 would have been way stronger cuz as dio said in part 3 dio isn't able to use the timestop to its full because Jonathan's body hadn't accepted dio's head which is why he had to drink Joestar blood. So if he had his original body that's is well with his body would make the world stronger than part 3

@@erenjaeger9579 Phantom Blood's Dio Brando with The World will be just thesame as Diego Brando from a different universe's, it would just give Dio a lower limits for his time stop ability, his stand doesn't become strong because of his vampiric abilities, it's a joestar's blood, araki made it to be meant like that, that's because Jonathan's body was stabbed so DIO could have a stand, that is what's different, so a Joestar's blood gives him two benefits.

@@erenjaeger9579 His vampirism is not the reason why his time stop length expands when he consumes joestar blood, when DIO consumes a Joestar Blood he gets 2 benefits and they dont have connection to each other it's seperated, if you want me to repeat again, DIO obtained The World because the arrow pierced Jonathan's body, that's the reason why it has a connection why it makes his timestop length longer, The World is not a stand that becomes way better with vampirism like a hermit purple with hamon or a tusk with spin, it's because of their attributes, example: Diego's THE WORLD and DIO's The World.

Somehow I missed this upload till now 😭, but yeah great video META lovin DIO clappin everything, and yeah for stone masks I always took it that stone masks can lead to a higher chance to get a stand due to gaining immortality so longer time to develop one and as you said a change in mentality as stands come from fighting spirit but that’s just my interpretation

I thik the prodigy master thing has to do with literally putting your heart and SOUL into a craft, you develop a psychological connection to it and your will and soul grow stronger eventually producing a stand because of the amount of your spirit is dedicated to this. There can be stands that represent your craft or art (say, ball breaker, tusk, and hermit purple who is officially states by araki to be a stand based on hamon) I also think hamon and spin has an extra leg up when it comes to developing a stand because of there spiritual and psychic nature possibly linking them to the stand via the spirit.

I think there's only one problem with it, in part 7 gyro has no stand (scan is not a stand and ball breaker is the stand of the spin) but he can defeat stand users because the majority of them are not punch ghost who can break diamonds and move at the speed of light like in part 3, if DIO's power was only the time stop or The World was physically weaker and Hermit Purple was a bit more stronger I believe Jonathan could stand a chance

Scan is actually a stand or stand ability, but it’s from the eye so Gyro looses it with the eye. Jonny is able to retain Tusk after getting Act 3 for the same reasons Diego retains Scary Monsters: they trained with it so much it sort of just became theirs.

Giorno casually altering time and space to come to this universe and smack up DIO real quick:

An alternative what if idea around the final fight for suckers at optimistic ends! Jonathan barely holds off against Dio, mostly in a gratuitous out of their personal brotherhood... Tonpetty foresees what's to come, fleshing out a plan along Zeppeli to waste Dio's Stand ability. Both end sacrificing in the match, forcing Dio to use the World in them. Just in that cooldown time frame the prodigies of Jonathan and Straizo launch their best attack at him, just alike on the fight with Jotaro, mildly piercing both Dio and his stand with overflowing hamon. Both Jonathan and Straizo were exhausted, but dio, wasn't finished, badly wounded and holding in the fence that separated him from the ravine. He speech a last monologue at his brother, before desynchronize his eyes like a chameleon to shoot his eye lasers. Jonathan's humanoid stand was capable of move the shot at his right shoulder, Straizo wasn't so lucky, getting hit right on the neck. This before Dio throwing himself to the ocean and both Speedwagon and Straizo on the floor remarking what just had happened. Fortunately Jonathan great hamon curative powers saved Straizo, however, the injuries leaving him paralytic for life. There's still much challenges in the brief future that is left for Jonathan and possible implications in the future of this what if. And worst, I'd let you imagine how things would flesh out in that boat!

I think this story would work if dio hadn’t fully manifested TW, kinda like reverse part 3 DIO. Like max vampire, min stand. He loses the same way and then we get a similar jojo experience

I feel like the arrows would come into play and either a requiem lvl ability is born and DIO dies from a broken human or DIO gets even more OP. I’m suprised you didn’t go for the fake out and had Jonathan tricking him into killing himself by hamon like Joseph tried to do. I definitely think it would’ve worked against a less experienced version of DIO.

What if Araki went through with his original plan of making Fugo betray the gang?

Now we must know what would happen if stands were in part 2, as in like the events of part 1 played out as they did in the normal story despite dio having the world. It would be interesting to flesh out a what if scenario where Jonathan somehow found a way to defeat dio and we have the same events carry out with dio as a head and Jonathan needing to sacrifice himself on the boat. It would also be interesting if the pillar men’s abilities are recontextualized as stand abilities with Kars needing the stone to have a stone mask grant him a requiem stand that makes him the ultimate life form.

“The world’s Heaven.”

In one of Araki's non-canon stories i believe, he name dropped a stand for Johnathan named The Passion. In part 3 i believe we see Dio with a vinelike stand in his hands or something. Theory is thats Johnathan's stand because vinelike stands are evolutions of Hamon.

The Passion was from the novel Jorge Joestar, which Araki didn't have any role in other than drawing the cover art. It's been confirmed that the vinelike stand Dio uses would have been Jonathan's stand so basically he would have just had Hermit Purple

I imagine it's more that the stone masks give you a stan when you had a powerful enough fighting spirit. Like, the type of people that could get a stan eventually, or at least survive a stan arrow hit.

I saw someone propose a what if on Spin in part 1, so I have a similar proposal, although probably less interesting. What if Hamon was in part 7?

Regarding Tonpetti's potential stand: It would make sense to me for Jonathan or Straizo to have a stand more like hermit purple or even magician's red in Straizo's case (but more like being able to channel and control hamon into and through the air... even though that would cheapen Dio's instant freeze ability buuuuut he has Za Warudo anyway sooooo...) Something similar to heirophant green would work for him as well. Although something like a mix of abilities from HP and HG would be good for Jonathan's stand. To the original point though, something like GE feels to me like a good fit for a grandmaster hamon user, given that hamon is supposed to be a form of life energy and GE is mostly based on creation and manipulation of life. Overall the idea of stands in part 1 could make for a hell of a what if fanfic.

Then 100 years later he gets murdered by an invisible assassin.

Hermit purple versus the world quite interesting

Well a potential alternate ending, Kars realizing that he can’t defeat Dio who can stop time (yes I am very certain that Kars would figure out how The World worked very early on in their fight) and the power these vampires have he would trick Dio in a way so he could get close to one of the vampire stand user corpses (preferably by tricking Dio into punching him in that direction in order to mimic how Dio tricked Jotaro in their fight) and consume the corpse. Since stands are passed on by blood it’s possibly something a genius like Kars could decipher by eating the blood of a stand user and so he would develop a stand of his own and while Araki has written a (non canon) novel where Kars had a stand which could copy any stand ability he encountered which fit his ultimate life theme but is a pretty boring stand overall so the idea I propose instead would be a stand that would allow him to speed run his ultimate life plan since that is basically already his passion and what his prodigy mind is focused on. So the battle would become ultimate Kars vs full vampire and stand using Dio which while Dio would put up a good fight would ultimately be a fruitless endeavor because ultimate Kars is literally immortal. In the end realizing he can’t win Dio would use The World to escape and then plan for how to stop Kars and meanwhile Kars would collect some of the leftover vampires and with his godlike power he would make them his loyal minions and this would continue until half the whole world would be ruled by Dio and the other half by Kars and this would basically be the JoJo worlds WWII.

I’d call The World Requiem “Heaven’s World”

Can you go over how events like WW2 or Vietnam would have changed if stand users existed and stands for the major figures in it

I have a cool theory, whenever dio destroys the temple in Tibet he finds the red stone of Aja and he would sense something about it and after some tinkering he combines it with the stone mask and uses it to become dio: the ultimate life form

TL:DR Dio lives up to his name

The world requiem wouldnt really have stats much like gold experience requiem. Though I would like to think ability wise he would be able to stop time infinity at this point. Though it's original speed, strength, senses as well as precision would improve tenfold. I would like to add another ability since we really didn't get to see much in terms of what the world can do. Being able to do minor rewinding and fast forwarding of time about 10 or so seconds. Kind of like The World Over Heaven or King Crimson but not at the same time. He could also have potential to overwrite space itself since it and time seemed to go hand in hand. Anyways a name suggestion for this could be The Heaven Ascended World or The World Over Heaven like from eyes of heaven.

dio's time stop wouldn't be as powerful as it would be in part 3, he only had a few weeks to develop his ability without an enyaba figure to help him with it, unlike in part 3 where he spent years training with his stand between when he was fished up and when the plot began.

So, I have been thinking about something. I don't remember where I heard this but doesn't Dio only have the World because he's using Jonathan's Body? Like this was supposed to be Jonathan Joestar's stand (if he ever lived long enough to have one) and its the reason why Jotaro's Star Platinum is so similar to him. Dio on his own would probably have a different stand as well because a lot of what Jonathan does is mimicked through Star Platinum and The World

The real question I beg is if it were Ultimate Kars against The World Vampire Dio given that Light Novel version of Kars can literally use any stand and understand anything

Jonathan with Hermit Purple would Road Roller the whole part up until Dio due to how broken it would be to have the ability to summon invisible vines that conduct 100% of his Hamon energy Hamon. He'd basically have a spamable ranged Hamon attack to one-shot all of Dio's zombies and solo Bruford and Tarkus at the same time.

They might’ve already had stands, Araki confirmed that Joseph had hermit purple during part 2, we just weren’t able to see it

Actually well timestop is extremely short at the start so it'd basically be useless

While the video is pretty good, and I did enjoy the idea of Dio fighting Kars, there's a major issue revolving around timestop. The fact of the matter is, Dio said that it took him half a year before he even realized he had it. Given the timeframe of part 1, Dio wouldn't even learn about timestop until around the end of part 1, after Dio does the final battle between him and the rest of Johnathan's group. So to be more accurate, Dio's stand, The World would be akin to Star Platinum. Now, you can argue that due to all the life-threatening events Dio partook in, it may of caused him to learn about timestop early on. And while that's a good point, my counter evidence comes in the form of Jotaro's Star Platinum. Star Platinum is a good frame of reference for an inexperienced The World, as it's been stated these two stands are the same, and are presented as such. Given Jotaro in the events of part 3, and how he recently got Star Platinum and used it in the span of 50 days, it's safe to assume Jotaro is inexperienced with his stand. Jotaro, in all of his life or death battles, never ONCE used timestop. Even against Dark Blue Moon, a stand that seriously messed up Jotaro, he didn't use timestop as an instinctive reflex, he used Star Finger instead. The only time Jotaro used timestop is when he learned about it mid-fight against Dio, and had to rapidly learn to move in and cause time stopping. The only reason Jotaro learned the ability as fast as he did was because he learned it from an expert, Dio. Rather than through time-consuming experimentation with his stand to figure out if he even had it like Dio did, Jotaro got his power specifically by learning about it and training with it from there. This proves the ability to time stop doesn't spontaneously occur under high stress circumstances, it occurs only when people have either trained with their stand enough to figure out time stop, or learned about the ability early on from an expert. This also simultaneously proves time stop isn't based on the user's strength. So even if Dio did have maximum power of a vampire alongside his stand, it would still take just as much time to figure out time stop as it did for part 3 DIO. To sum it up, Dio would not have timestop for the majority of part 1's story, he'd just have the insane brute force, accuracy, and speed of The World. Exactly, I don’t know why noone’s pointed this out.

I think Jonathan would’ve had a stronger stand Because stands are manifestations of your fighting spirit right? And DIO constantly gets thrown off by how ridiculously powerful Jonathan’s fighting spirit is like how he says something to the effect of “the harder you hit Jojo the more force he comes at you with” so since Jonathan has way more fighting spirit than DIO he should also have a pretty crazy stand not just hermit purple I don’t think it makes sense for a buff like Hamon to automatically give you a weaker stand than you’d most likely get otherwise

I dunno everything I'd give johnathan in a stand but I do know I'd give him something like stone free allowing him to touch stands meaning he can mostly keep his fighting style

so it just becomes dio dios bizarre adventure

Now what if the pillar men had stands? Its not to hard to assume that they were alive when the arrow meteor crashed into earth or at least not long after that. So possibility kars and the others have stands? Just some food for thought just like this whole video

What if part 3 was focused on vampires and hamon?

I feel like if stands did exist during Phantom Blood, I feel like Dio gaining the World would be a tiny bit passive? You remember Shadow DIO’s stand in Hftf? I feel like it would function a lot like that. I don’t think he should have Times-top yet but if he does I can imagine it being way shorter and be more not to the point of being unnoticeable but not to the point of being strong. Maybe have so Dio can subconsciously use it as it could add more stakes to him and Johnathon’s showdown, only until Part 3 where it starts becoming aware of it. As for the Pillar-man I would just say not to give them stands. I feel like most of the stand users in Part 2 wouldn’t have overly crazy abilities but not too weak either. Maybe part 2 can be the part where its mostly armed stands (like Emperor and Hermit Purple)

Before this video begins I can already feel that dio is gonna stomp everyone with his full powered body and the world he would stomp everyone unless Jonathan has star platinum instead of the passion

So is za wurdo Jonathan’s body’s stand or Dio’s head’s stand? I have always wondered that.

Dio in steel ball run has the world so it's clearly Dio's there are other bits of evidence like the fact Dio also has hermit purple which could only come from Jonathan's body logically as Jonathan was a hamon user

You forgot, Jonathan's and dios stand are the same type of stands

If I remember correctly, he was able to obtain a 10 second time stop in 6 months. If I did the math correctly, he would obtain a 24 hour time stop in a little less then 12 years. This was my math: 60 * 60 * 24 for the total seconds in a day, and divide that by 365 for the days in the year (not including a possible leap year in that space of time) and 20 for the amount of seconds he gets a year. To be fair I think his time stop would be higher because of how quickly he increased his time stop while fighting Jotora, but thay could have been situational because of the constant use of time stop. If I was wrong (could be not someone that knows the lore only watched part 3 anime (sorry)) and he only gets 10 seconds a year, he have to wait less then 24 years, not bad for an immortal being.

Jonathan won't get hermit purple because every stand is different just like johnny and gyro so would get stand would use hamon like in a barrage

Wouldn't the pillar men have stands?

there's diffinently a way to make Jonathan win in Part1 or to keep it in line with canon

What if johnathan mastered ham on to the same degree as Johnny’s spin I’d like to see a concept for hermit purple act 4 infinite ripple Also I think William would get a stand but I don’t think it would be his I think he would unlock the hamon version of ball breakers the stand of hamon
