I like the fact that the People of France are so use to the riots that it doesn't even bother them anymore. People go to restaurants and other shops as though the riots aren't even happening.

You should use the Dymaxion map or Fuller map and draw up plans for a world wide railway system with tunnels and bridges included! Also, thank you for loving Iceland!

The bridge to PEI is so long that you can be on it and not see land in either direction. I remember going there as a kid and always being terrified that I couldn’t see land lol

If you drained the Mediterranean you would have a ton on land completely covered in salt where no plants can grow.

9:15 Wow, imagine you come from one of those tribes and you just like land in a major city or something. Like obviously it wouldn't happen like that but imagine how crazy it would be to find out about modern society. And how creepy it would probably feel that we have them mapped out on a map and they didn't even know we existed.

You make an interesting point about India (or rather the Indian subcontinent). If thr Volga, Urals and Caucasuses are enough to dilineate Europe as a continent then why can't we say the same for the Himalayas, Indus, Brahmputra and the Hindu Kush mountain. They're way bigger than the European counterparts and India is also culturally distinct from China and Central Asia. And ofc the Indian ocean is bigger than the Mediterranean. The only knock against is hostoric convention and the size, Europe and Australia are about 2 times bigger area wise.

It's easy to draw a line on Caucasus and Ural. Only one possible line (50-100km wide) But it's hard to draw a line across Asia. Where to draw a border in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan? Where should be border in south east Asia? Too many options And also those maps were made by Europeans who didn't care about Asia that much. Now this division is old and people won't accept change But yes, it's a nice idea

Half of New York City would be gone. As well as Mumbai because it sits on an island, we would also lose Montreal, Vancouver island in Canada 🇨🇦 that holds the capital of British Columbia, Victoria, The capital of Denmark 🇩🇰 Copenhagen would be gone & we would lose all of Indonesia 🇮🇩 (The 4th most populated country in the world.) All of the UK 🇬🇧, Ireland 🇮🇪, Japan 🇯🇵, the Philippines 🇵🇭, New Zealand 🇳🇿, etc we would lose. It just puts into prospective of how many people live on an island.
