If Qui-Gon survived, Anakin simply wouldn’t have turned to the dark side. The only way Palpatine was able to corrupt him was by being fulfilling the role of a father figure, which Qui-Gon would have fulfilled had he not perished at the hands of Darth Maul. Anakin also wouldn’t have become so frustrated with the Jedi, as Qui-Gon would have taught him a less narrow, less dogmatic view of the Force.

Not to mention, Qui-Gon would have gone back for Shimmi. His intention was never to let Watto hold on to her forever. Once the immediate crisis was over he'd have returned exchanged credits for whatever money they use on Tatooine and bought and freed her.

Then Kenobi, no longer needing to train Anakin, would not feel obligated to stay in the Order. He and Duchess Satine would go "Jedi Order Official," and elope. Then upon Maul killing her, with him no longer having the support of his Jedi crew, Kenobi says FUCK IT and goes full dark side. Palpatine does his "I'm here for you when no one else is," and we get Darth Kobe. Always 2, but who?

Finally someone mentioned that it was indeed lack of sleep that was causing Anakin’s judgement to be clouded. This fact certainly worked in Palpatine’s favor, as it made it even easier to manipulate Anakin. In the normal timeline of course.

I often think about these kind of theories, I just want to see Anakin happy with his family 😭

There's a plot hole: if Palpatine was unable to call order 66, Ashoka would have been successful in bringing Maul before the Jedi Council...

I feel Anakin went over the cliff and fell to the dark side when he disobeyed Windu and left the Council Chambers. I like how your story seems to hinge on that one moment, which seems to have gone mostly unnoticed. Anakin could not leave the Council Chambers, and still remain a Jedi.

Whenever anakin gets granted the rank of master is makes me smile

I always felt that Yoda was hearing Qui-Gon reaching out to Anakin in the moment of the Tuskin slaughter, but Anakin ignored the call of Qui-gon. Anakin was so clouded by hate and anger that maybe Anakin didn’t even hear/feel it. Such a powerful scene and one of my favorite moments in the prequels. Great video, dude. I always enjoy these theories and what ifs.

In the novelization that’s exactly what happens. It is also the first time Yoda ever heard sentient personality reach out from the netherworld of the force. Seriously read attack of the clones some time. That and RoS books are awesome.

Anakin’s story is so sad. Oh how I wish this was the actual timeline..

We would never have Darth Vader but I would be okay with that because we would see Anakin at FP (who would basically be a god), and Anakin and Padme raise luke and leia which I've always wanted to see. I have always felt like they would be such good parents and Star Wars fans would finally get a happily after ever.

@@samuela2246 it’s just so sad considering it was so obvious he needed some support, from anyone really. Even just telling him it’s gonna be okay would have probably helped him a lot. The Jedi were so obsessed with the politics and their dogmatic ways that they were not only blinded by the fact that Anakin needed support, but that a Sith Lord was pulling all the strings. I really hate the Jedi for that in the prequels. Anakin was a good kid and didn’t deserve that fate

Crucified by the chances of his life, it was like Anakin Skywalker had no chance at all.

Theory is usually great at voice impressions of SW characters but his Qui-Gon was made me laugh 😂

Outside of palpatine's ending in this one, this is the best fan fiction you've ever done. Truly amazing and I believe it's how George would play it out. The concept of Anakin finally becoming a true jedi and getting powerful, strong with the force and leaning all it's aspects after speaking with Qui Gon is extremely interesting, like his whole life was meaningless to that point, that all his teachings he got were horrible and wrong. Once again, GREAT stuff, almost perfect.

Imagine a Star Wars “What if?” series on Disney+ This type of story could be a series in itself.

I don’t understand force ghosts. Even in the sequels, anakin’s force ghost could have reached out to kylo/ben to let him know that going down the path of the dark side is wrong. Or are force ghosts not capable of communing with dark side of the force users?

I like that either way Luke’s and yoda’s paths cross and he becomes a important role in Luke’s development

I really liked this. I do believe Anakin would reveal the truth of his relationship with Padme, however. Qui-Gon may not have been overly powerful in life but in death I feel he could rival Palpatine, at least in knowledge of the Force.

The one thing Anakin desperately needed, was understanding from others.

I always enjoy your alternatives but this is probably one of my favorites and most plausible. Qui-gon wasn''t on the council because he couldn't stomach how rigid they were with their rules. He would have already known about Anakin's and Padme's relationship and that they had children AND he would have been more accepting of it. With that knowledge, Qui-gon would have been instrumental in helping the Jedi understand that "attachments" aren't necessarily a bad thing and would have assisted Anakin with training Luke and Leia. At least until they become teens because we all know that teens refuse to listen to authority figures *facepalm and shakes head*

This is just George Lucas fucking up the Jedi. Nowhere in the OT did it say attachment was forbidden for a Jedi. Obi Wan talks as if it was normal for Anakin to have kids.

Qui gon spoke to Anakin on Mortis, It's hard to say, It's the only time he really said anything to him, Palpatine was there and knew.. I think Anakin would have told Qui Gon about everything as a Padawan, when he killed the sand people, all he had was Grampa Palpatine. Had Qui Gon spoke to Anakin more often to yes it would have changed everything.. Palpatine was a step ahead the whole time. The Jedi were spread thin after all there is no time to clear the mind in the middle of the galactic war. Palpatine timed everything too perfectly. He kept Anakin close.

Anakin literally talked with Qui-Gon's force ghost in the Mortis Arc; so, I don't think he would be surprised that much when he heard his voice. I think you forgot about that.

What I like about this is that it still stays true to Anakin’s character and the story after the change still feels like how events would have realistically unfolded

This was amazing. I love how you did this video, and the most realistic ending I have come across, Qui Gon Jinn is my most favorite Jedi closely followed by Obi Wan and Anakin. This was my first fan fiction that I have watched on this channel and it was fantastic. I would love to see a part 2. Congratulations on 5 years and thank you for all of the amazing work that you do for the Star Wars community.

I can't describe how much I loved this fan fiction! I want this to exist in a parallel universe so much!

If Qui-Gon was in Revenge of the Sith, he could help Anakin see how the dark side is taking advantage of his fear and say no to its offer. Dave Filoni said that Qui-Gon was the father figure Anakin never had so I think he would be able to help Anakin face his fear and overcome it. Instead of telling Anakin to deny his fear by saying ‘Let go of your attachments!’ as the Jedi Council did. Anakin’s biggest fear is fear of abandonment. He went down the rabbit hole of trying his best to not be abandoned so much so that he ended up abandoning his wife and children himself! That’s sad!

What a GREAT fanfic, Fantastic job as usual and Congrats on 5 yrs!!

I still believe that Obi-Wan was pre-maturely made a Jedi master. Even though I love him, he was not like his master, where he just stuck to the book.(AKA the council) I believe Anakin would've trusted Qui-Gon because he simply ain't no snitch.

Agreed plus I thought of Obi-Wan training Anakin just after he became a Jedi Knight was not right either. I believe only Jedi Masters should train Padawans since the word "master" comes from the Latin word "magister" which means teacher. Also the Padawans should be trained by various masters and not just one to get a well-rounded eduation on various techniques and not just one. Only after years of experience as a knight should Obi-Wan be made a master and by then he would've been Anakin's last master.

Not even the Council stuck to the book. They had a choice: serve the will of the Force, or the Republic. They made that choice when they sent troops to Geonosis in AOTC. That book went partially out the window then.

I would love to see a part two and three. Watching your videos are like watching star wars shorts so entertaining and full of quality content.

I know. But what I’m referring to here is the ease with which he slaughtered them. There’s a reason Dooku never challenged Sidious directly and kept looking for a really powerful apprentice - he knew he would have been toast. And Grievous, come on, he wasn’t a match for Obi-Wan or any of the really skilled Jedi. And they had no chance against Palpatine, except for Windu and even that’s debatable.

How have I known about this channel so long but only just properly checked it out and subbed! I absolutely love these videos. There's so many characters you like enough to want a happy ending for. I've read it in the comments before but a star wars 'what if' would be fantastic with you at the helm 😊

This was an excellent fan fiction from the Jedi’s point of view. I want to know what happens with other “Legends” Jedi like Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Corran Horn, Sil Gal, etc. Also what would become of the lovable scoundrels Han, Chewy and Lando?

What if Leia, Lando, and Chewe caught up to Boba and Han in the Empire Strikes Back? That would have been an awesome fight.

Please do more fan fiction/theory videos, this video was so good, it feels like your reading a book the way you script the video and voice the characters (your Anakin impression is superb), the music the back ground just adds so much with out you even noticing, and I'm having a hard time saying what else I great because the whole video is great, please make more theory videos, and thank-you.

You're an amazing guy, SWT. We love you! And your Fanfictions. My personal favorites are "What if Obi-Wan didn't leave Anakin" and "What if Mace Windu went to Utapau." I love a good redemption arc. Emphasis on the word GOOD. Because there are many redemption arcs that just feels rushed & forced, because of how poorly written some of them are! (I'm looking at you, Kylo Ren).

Can you make a theory about the multiple realities, with Ahsoka being alive or dead depending on rebels season 4? There are several good videos on it. But I love the video feels like I’m going back to the roots of Star Wars Theory.

Love the depth you gave in this one it’s so good! One plot hole though. Maul wouldn’t have escaped if order 66 didn’t happen, at least not right away. Someone would have to rescue him. I think that should be another fan fiction and maybe continue this story too! I would love that!

@@HO-zy2bv no I mean if the prequels were made before the originals, we probably could’ve gotten a story like that. But the prequels could only do so much because it was always gonna have to turn out to what we got in the originals

A fanfiction! What a nice surprise. Maybe do some sequel fanfics if you want? My ideas: - What if Chewbacca killed Kylo Ren in TFA? - What if Finn didn't survive? - What if Han Solo didn't die? - What if Kylo Ren came back home with Han? - What if Luke agreed to return from exile?
