One more loyal primarch on the loyalist side is already a game changing factor, especially with Magnus. Leaving the Emperor to be able to act on the physical plane while he sits on the Golden Throne.

So damn true! My other question is - where was the Emperor getting a new legion from? Like he was going to make him a new legion from his Gene Seed again? That part I never understood or was he going to pull together marines from other legions? If anyone knows feel free to enlighten me!

Would he need psyker sacrifices too?

I really hope not lol It honestly seems like the mass use of psyker souls is just a ploy to exterminate any potential powerful psykers from being corrupted by Chaos/becoming Primarch level powerful, moreso than an actual fuel for the Web Way. So, I would guess yes that would continue unfortunately.

The Emperor saw Magnus as no more than a battery and showed no interest in saving his sons. Reminds me of how he treated angron and the highriders' slaves, or how he treated Lorgar and the people of Monarchia, or how he treated the countless of human civilizations that didn't want his as their emperor. How was he planning to lead mankind to enlightenments, again?

Sorry to bother you sir but this is 40K and uh… everything kinda sucks no matter what here so LOL if you can imagine a ‘grim dark’ remix of enlightenment led by a giant red super psychic then boom there you have it. Like how Salamanders burn ppl alive but are “the nice ones” of the Legions. It’s all bad, all the time, that’s why it’s good. And that’s why we love it.
