They were under a lot of pressure: they knew that if Germany lost the war the only ones protecting them against Russia would be gone so there was a big danger of disappearing as a nation. Also, Germany had a lot of investment in their territory.

Let me remind you, that Bulgaria was the same side of conflict as Ottomans, both powers fought each other in two Balkan Wars and earlier in a lot revolts and independence movements. Politics aren't about past and interests of each country constantly changes.

They simply not care about it, they set 2 or 3 divisions on maximum in sardinia then they get invaded from multiple sides and just abandon it

I think that Italy would join Central Powers during WW1 and would be important in colonial fights. But Austria-Hungary should give them Trieste for exchange (not Tirol since Tirol was basically useless for them). Would it make Central Powers won? I think not, Italy may had strong navy and decent aircraft but had weak land and colonial forces, which would result in the same as they ended WW2

Italy was a Kingdom, Why Italy Become a Republic?

Why does Italy not own Libya or it's colonies in Ethiopia and Somalia?

Its not a question of loyal, central powers take the first step against serbia so italy isn't joined with them cause the alliance was defensive. More the Austria and hungary are in bad relationship with italy (example is the disaster of Messina when everyone run to help italy, but some generals of Austria are go to the emperor and say that is a good moment to attack us). So Italy, my country has not traitor of central powers. Quite the opposite cause italy isn't considerated when Austria has declared war on Serbia. P.s sorry if i've say something wrong in english.

So because it was a "defensive" alliance.... Italy is Ok to declare war on Germany and Austria? Italy was a rat in WW1, it's undeniable. That's why the schadenfreude of it getting cucked in both World Wars feels so good. Edit: Also Russia declared war on Austria, so where were the Italians then?
