The only reason I can think of is that the French lost Paris to Italian Units instead of German ones, bugging the game.

I was thinking another possibility. When France lost its capital, they immeadiatey surrendered. Perhaps the Franch AI didn't have enough time to ask for peace. As soon as they lost Paris, the Franch was gone. So the only way to end the war would be the traditional way. I was fully expecting Britain asking for peace, but it didn't happen.

Alex, you are the reason I play HOI4. I remember when I was around 14 (this was like 2018) I stumbled upon your channel. HOI4 was something I never heard of before. I started watching your mod review videos and then would watch other people that played HOI4 like Bokoen1 and that got me into it. I downloaded a pirated version on my laptop and though it would run very slow. (1 day would take like 30 seconds) I enjoyed the game enough that I ended up buying it off steam. Took me a minute to learn the game (I remember my first time playing as Germany the UK and France denied the Sudetenland and I got violated by Czechoslovakia 😂.) Now I'm 20 and though I have a daughter and work a full time job I still play the game 2-3 times a week. So thank you Alex, for introducing me to such an amazing game!

Another rambler win!!! You're on fire. Seriously, one of the reason i like your videos is caus sometimes you fail and struggle. You show real games, not the one you succeeding after trying in secret 7 times and coming up with a cheesy strategy. Keep up the good work!

Hi Alex, I am working with TGWR's Italy team (I'm on hiatus from the team at the moment), and I'm gonna say - you'll like it when Italy's rework comes out. It's still quite barebones and we're restructuring stuff but it shouldn't be too much of a long ways away. Keep up the videos, they're great.

Personally I find World War One way more interesting then the second I don’t know why it just has a special feeling compared to the second

I am relatively sure that the devs nerfed howitzers, as it seems to me as if they aren't as powerful as they used to be and they are just more expensive for marginally more soft attack and less breakthrough.

I have a small request/question. I cannot find any relevant information about fleet oilers. I guess they provide oil but I have no clue how to order them. I have a few in port but I dont see any order to supply a zone or corps. Can anyone help? Thanks!
