I'm sitting under a blanket y'all made me so cold. LOL. Ice Museum is beautiful. but no, I could not stay all night there I don't like the cold. The hot springs they couldn't get me out of it. Thank you for doing this tour and sharing with us. It was always a dream to see this, but realistically I am so arthritic that I could never go into some this cold for so long.

I am surprised at how many tourist areas there are in Alaska. My brother has 2 sons. The oldest is an ice & wood carver by trade and has participated in the Fairbanks Ice Alaska carving tournaments 3X now. The first time his team won! He has also been part of the team that ice carved the 2022 Super Bowl game symbol. My brother's second son is severely disabled and my brother made him a shower chair out of PVC, mesh, rivets and large casters. As he got older the chair grew up and out.

Thanks for the tour, guys!!! My wife went to Chena Hot Springs 18 years ago and has been trying to get me to take her back! She just finished watching the video and noticed that it has changed a lot! Now She really wants me to take her this summer!😊 NOW SEE WHAT YOU DID!!! LOL 😅😅😅 I see a weekend trip in my near future!!! ❤❤❤ BTW, the appletini used to come with the price of admission!

I went to Fairbanks 10 years ago. I spent the day a Chena springs and had lunch. I did not swim, but I saw my first live moose in that area where the pond was! There was no ice museum but the green house was there.

Many years ago a DC 10 crashed was stuck on the Hills. It was brought down. And was built into the 2nd floor it was called The l the Aerodrom. Fantastic place. Daily I would stop in a have a meals and a beer. It is It is gone now. Regulation. Changed. 2:43 gone now. So said sad never mind.

Wow. I always wanted to see the Ice Museum, so thank you both it was extraordinary. I don’t know if I could stay the night tho, even the Turdle Purgatory comes with a bucket.🤣 Loved the beautiful ice sculptures, but there’s no way I’d buy the Apple Martini - only bc I couldn’t bring myself to smash the Ice sculptured glass. However, I could see myself in the hot springs. Loving the adventure. 🫶💕😎🇦🇺

Winter 1973 thru Fall 1979 the Delta Junction/Ft. Greely/Fairbanks....Lower 48 people do not understand the winter temperatures...-50*F and colder are not uncommon... Actually saw -82*F w/chill factor -127*F....... Cold Regions Test Center, Ft. Greely, AK...personally never actually made it to Chena Hot Springs..... Would like to go back into the interior of the state for a long visit away from the hustle and bussel of civilization.. To hell with the lower 48 states.. Kick back and enjoy Alaska Time....... Thanks for the memories... Enjoy your trip..Safe travels..

If I got that math right...that was $22.95 for a bacon cheeseburger??? I pay less than half of that if I made it myself...and had fries on the side... Plus I had an extra four cheeseburgers to go...

They had an ice bar here in Vegas some time back that was very similar to this. Most people that came in there got a thermal coat to wear while there. The drinks were very pricey but it was very popular during the summer months at least for a while until you got too cold! 🤣 it was closed down I think because they were busted for underage drinkers. Yep, really stupid!! But I think Covid and the pandemic had a lot to do with a permanent demise.
