Kevin Sorbo spoke at my alma mater, HLGU, at the booster banquet. I was unable to attend but was pleasantly surprised that he came to a small Baptist university to speak. On another topic, if his 6' 5" son wants to act maybe Kevin can produce a movie called "Son of Hercules."

First time in a while I've heard Kevin Sorbo speak, aside from that short piece that was probably a couple of months back. It was awesome to hear him speak. Slight disagree with his message at the end, as I do think sometimes we do need a little bit of fear, and that is where we learn to be courageous. But nonetheless, it was good to hear from him.

I was only 16 when Carter and Reagan ran in 1980. I lived in Michigan. I wished so hard I could vote for Reagan, but was thrilled he became president. 4 years later I was living and working in Minneapolis. I was so excited to vote for Reagan my first time. I was floored the next day to see Reagan won every single state, except Minnesota. We need another Ronald Reagan.

Great video and message of hope, faith, persistence and success. I have loved Kevin Sorbo since Hercules. We are basically the same age and he has done more standing up for and trying to do what is right than what I feel that I have. He is a great example for all of us. It is scary, even for me, and I am an old guy as well wishing for what seemed like more normal days of yesteryear. But in these the very Last Days, all that is left for those of us believers is in what is right to do. I know it can be discouraging, depressing and can even be threatening and overwhelming because we don't feel like anything is getting fixed or better. It is about hope and as the Savior has taught us it isn't about the system or the masses. It is about the one. Typically we do not know who we are influencing for good and when we do, it most likely will be years later after the fact. To make the biggest changes ever we must start with ourselves and focus on helping and serving 'the one' or the individual and then we will become a strong massive group of people seeking to do and change things to what is right for human beings everywhere as God intended it to be. That needs to be our focus from now on until He comes again, which I believe is very soon. Just look around. I believe that this is the focus that will help us get through more days of greater tribulation soon to come. As the song says, 'don't stop believing' and thus continue trying and doing. What would be something I could do is share this on FB, even if I risk getting slapped for it. That's the scary part for me. What do you think? Should I and will they slap me for it?
