Not only was White Beard dying from a sickness, but he was also in the middle of a HEART ATTACK when he started fighting Akainu. Seriously the only reason Akainu got a good hit on White Beard was because the dude was taken off guard by his heart stopping.

The only way wb landed a good hit was by sneaking up on him, and he had to trade half his head to do that. Akainu objectively won the fight since he landed more hits, took 0 serious damage, dealt more damage and wasn’t even focused on wb.

People forget that WB could have actually killed Akainu if Akainu didn't fall down the hole WB made (or at the very least, he would have been way more injured). Reason being, if Akainu was knocked down even for a few seconds, and was right in front of Whitebeard, defenseless, WB would have just hit him again with another Quake punch, or just straight stabbed him with his Naginata (Aokiji avoided WBs weapon by shaping around the blade similar to how Katakuri, because if WB couldn't use COA, he wouldn't have even used his weapon on Aokiji in the first place, he's not stupid. Plus, Akainu clashed with his weapon using his body, so unless he did it just to look cool, that weapon has COA). Akainu is also lucky he didn't just fall into the ocean and drown to death either. He got some brief time to recover. And he was still internally damage if you see the panel of his face after Aokiji and Kizaru fail to stop Law and Luffy's escape. He was bleeding pretty heavily. He was sill able to clash and fight with WB Commanders because he has the best Stamina in the verse that we've seen (same with Aokiji). And yet people think Akainu even in this state would win against a fresh Old Garp that wasn't sick, having heart attacks, or sneak attacked by a sword? Get out of here, Garp would have gotten the jump on Akainu just like Old Whitebeard did when he hit Akainu from the back. And Garp would he punching way harder.

The birds are you reference are simply ranged projectile attacks. Just like how Mr 3 can shoot out wax or Magellan can shoot out Poison they’re projectiles being launched off their body. By no means is that valid proof that Kuzan and Cairbou can fly. And since you admit BB can’t fly. then your statement “all logias can fly” is blatantly wrong. You are the one who is using head cannon to try and argue character can fly who we’ve never seen fly before.

Akainu folded, I didn’t see him with any holes in his chest or missing parts of his face. Akainu has shown just as much AP if not more at marine ford. Kuzan took out 1/2 of BB captains while drunk. Both more impressive than what garps shown

Imo, in that one situation garp would win, he’s pretty much 100% cause he didn’t take any dmg, whereas Akainu was getting his ass beat for awhile. But in a fair 1 vs 1 I got Akainu mid-high diff

Whitebeard was still titled 'the world's strongest man' at that point in time despite his illness. An enraged whitebeard's attacks would be MUCH more powerful than an enraged garps as whitebeard was shown shifting tectonic plates earlier in the war - something i highly doubt garp could do. Seeing as akainu ate all of whitebeards attacks and was up and ready for smoke 5 minutes later, i doubt garp could leave any long lasting damage on akainu

Also garp who has been active this whole time and his casual attack destroyed 80% of an island, in mid air (which would make an attack way weaker). That was casual. I think people forget that Whitebeard was so sick that he was unable to use Haki (Which is the only way to hit a Logia without using a devil fruit, also no observation either) on top of all the damage he took which turned him into a stationery target but still managed to smack around Akainu for a while. Garp who only got hit by pre-time skip Luffy (Which lets be honest did nothing to Garp), despite being old, he was not sick. Garp would have folded Akainu then and there.

old garp at marineford is arguably stronger than old whitbeard. old garp was pretty healthy and can still punch mountains down like it’s nothing. old white beard can punch mountains down but have 86 heart attacks in a span of 4 minutes

wb fought the whole marines and clashed with the other admirals and he was so sick he couldn’t use conquers But even then he still dealt heavy damage to akinu and knocked him out once If it was a one vs one im sure old beard would win high diff

What makes you think he low diff’d an injured cancer strung whitebeard who made akainu have to take a break in the war? Garp is not losing at marine ford, he probably would lose as of now though.

Whitebeard actually won that fight. If I remember correctly it was Akainu who fell down the hole after whitebeard left him laying on the ground. The sick old man WB at that.

@@apon2390 Whitebeard literally fought dozens of people he got jumped over and over. Akainu isn’t the one who put WB down it’s was a group of 8 strong people. After he had been fighting. That was a L for Akainu good showing but an L.

Garp hits Akainu with a Galaxy Impact. Akainu gets back up and proceeds to kill Garp. That's the reality because Akainu is in his prime and can fight longer than Garp.

Akainu can fight longer alright, but he’s not surviving a galaxy impact point blank. Plot armor is what you’re talking about. And if you seriously think a serious, enraged, Galaxy impact from point blank with direct contact is anything less than moon busting then you shouldn’t even be arguing about powerscaling. Akainu couldn’t insta-kill a sleep deprived, hungry Ace who hadn’t had access to his powers for a while. His attack was blocked by Jinbe. He got thrown around like a ragdoll by an old man with stage 15 cancer and 300 bullet holes in his chest. Plot armor is the only reason he’s alive, and in case you’ve forgotten, Akainu after Marineford took days to barely beat Aokiji despite having an elemental advantage. Need I mention that even Marco was throwing hands with all 3 admirals and still got punted into the ground by Garp who didn’t use a named attack, and didn’t even want to fight in the war at all.

Its not hard to see past marineford where oda had to give respect to Whitebeard before killing him off. Garp maybe stronger than Greenbull and Fujitora but ain't no way he's stronger than the OG 3 Admirals. He's getting mid to high diff at most

Point blank is hundreds of times, if not thousands of times more force as a direct hit is drastically stronger than from a distance. Akainu wasn’t even the one to be able to kill old sick injured WB, and you really think Marineford Akainu would be able to do shit to Marineford Garp? This is the same Akainu who got an attack blocked by Jinbe. Freaking Jinbe. Even Marco was throwing hands with all 3 og admirals and got stomped in 1 hesitant unnamed punch from Garp. Common sense says if I beat someone in 1 punch and that person can fight on par with you, I’m way stronger. Don’t quote common sense when you’re tryna tell me Marineford Akainu could beat Marineford Garp.

I’ll be honest I’m happy akainu survived so I can see luffy run the ones with him but deep down a part of me wishes I’d seen a Garp v akainu fight he would have bust his ass and flattened literally everyone that would have tried to save akainu it would have been amazing to see

This man has no idea how many Akainu fans he just angered, or the debate he just started.

After what we've seen in manga (no spoilers), I'm pretty certain Garp would have stomped the tired Akainu.

I wouldn’t be surprised if garp got executed for that mistake and Dragon pulled up to recruit Garp as a way for atonement

After the Kuzan fight I can confidently say that Akainu would’ve folded Garp. Just because Garp wanted to kill Akainu doesn’t mean he could have.
