Why does the German AI decide to just leave the eastern front? I’ve seen it happen many times. Is it a bug or is it intentional by the devs to prevent an early collapse of Russia

Yes, it is made by dev. Germany follows the Schlieffen plan, focusing on western Front. Also in older versions, Germany did invade Russia, and it did fall early, but Germany also falls, because they weren't getting any western lands at all.

@@alexzero3736 Germany did not move its entire army away from the eastern front like 8 times historically. Did you watch the timelapse? I recommend you go back and watch the later stages of the German invasion of Russia. You’ll see them pulling their army away quite a few times..

As he explained the ai is designed to focus on the west. It doesnt know the difference between 1914 or 1918. If it can put troops on the west it will. ​@@22LongRifle

For those wondering Ireland being split is based on the very real Irish civil war fought between the Free State forces backed by Britain who wished for a more peaceful path from now on to full independence even if it meant prolonging the journey and the Republicans in the south who wished for complete independence and war on Britain if it would help the ultimate goal of a fully independent Island ruled by the native Irish. Conflict clearly didn't happen this time resulting in a 3 way split which would probably result in both sides re-uniting some time around the 1950's as Ireland gained full independence in the south in 1948 in our time.

Germany did a big mistake not to punish France harder after 1871.

I wander if this means that Facism or National-Populism will be the rising evil, which will most likely start in either the French Republic or the German puppet state French State, joining forces with a Fascist lead North Italy under Mussolini. And in the east, Russia and many Slavic countries will embrace Slavic Nationalism, battling against the German hegemony

Ignorance on your part, the French were not particularly vengeful, it was only when the 1st World War started that there was great propaganda to "recover lost territories"
